As you can tell by the date stamp on the receipt I placed my order at 6:51 p.m. at Dairy Queen it is now after 7 and I have yet to receive my order. Several customers have come in and that time had their orders placed and filled with no problem whatsoever. This is the second time I have come here and the second time that this has happened apparently there is zero leadership in this establishment because they really don't feel like filling my order being a Google guide and a foodie it is my duty to report this to the general manager of Dairy Queen over this region and I will be notifying them directly after this.
That being said place is still clean ish same music playing over the speakers always has been between the seventies and eighties and nineties Rock and easy listening whatever it is I'm fine with that I don't like the fact that they give me a number and my table number is 6 days can climb plain sight of the counter I've been sitting here and no one's saying anything last time I got up and said hey you forgot to give me my order they looked at me like I was nuts like they had already given it to me even though the security camera that is over my left shoulder but a drink that I filled one time. And there is somebody else getting their order filled with a smile and they're not filling my order interesting. I don't know what it is about this place but it just seems like when certain people coming here to get their order filled nothing happens I paid for my order it was $7.62 and I have the only received a drink so I'm guessing my four piece chicken dinner was comped to somebody else's lunch cuz I have yet to receive it and they have to be thinking wonder why that guy is sitting out there with a number on his table could it be that he has ordered something that we have yet to give him I wonder. But it from what I have been Gathering since I came in here this entire shift is new nobody knows what the hell's going on nobody knows where anything is at in her to manager say that out of their own mouth so I don't know what's going on I don't know what the problem is but apparently they care zero about customer service and more about Filling the pockets of the CEOs of this establishment. that being said I will be going online when I go back to find out who the general manager is of these Dairy Queen's and the launching of formal complaint directly with them concerning the improperly handled business at this location as a foodie and a Google guide it is my duty to report such blatant violations in customer service and any restaurant that I review.
Update on previous review at the top manager gave me a card giving me any combo the next time I'm here free food is hot and ready I am satisfied once again so I'll give...
Read moreI just had the most unpleasant and unnecessary experience at this location that I’ve ever had in years! I initially went through the drive thru to order a blizzard with extra toppings with a request of adding to the bottom middle and top. The employee’s response to this was “no, we blend them through”. I actually asked a second time and he gave the same response. Flabbergasted, I decided to go inside to speak with the manager to perhaps explain what I wanted was extra toppings because I’ve had this made the same way for years and couldn’t understand what the problem was. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a tall, masked, Caucasian male with tattoos on his knuckles. I greeted him and asked for a manager and he explained that he was the General Manager- I did not know that General Managers work the drive thru but I digress, I explained to the employee one last time how I wanted the blizzard prepared and he curtly told me that no one is supposed to prepare blizzards like that and he’s not doing it. His demeanor was so hostile and unnecessary and I couldn’t understand why he had such an attitude! I reminded him that I’m being nothing but respectful and there was no need for such attitude. I then asked for the number to corporate and he told me that I can Google it. I asked him for his name and he replied, “I don’t have to give you that.” Being the greedy person that I am, I STILL asked for a blizzard, prepared however he wanted this time and his response was, “No! You can go!” I immediately left lol. My sister later entered the store and he was rude to her as well! As we were pulling out of the parking lot, we see that same rude employee run to the door towards us. Puzzled, we stopped the vehicle to see what he wanted, I guess he wanted to take a picture of us. I don’t know why as we were not making any trouble. If you have cameras please review them and you will see that his hostile and argumentative demeanor was unwarranted. I refuse to believe that this employee was actually the General Manager of the store. He has absolutely NO people skills, is hostile and his customer service is abysmal! These are not the qualities of someone that I’d want running my franchise. I normally would suggest coaching on his behavior but if he actually IS a general manager, he should be removed from his post and reassigned. There was truly no reason for him to behave the way he did, especially when all I was asking for was extra toppings that I pay for...
Read moreDairy Queen isn't a place I usually go to for breakfast, but the drive thru lines at McDonald's were wrapped around the building, so I decided to try a Dairy Queen's breakfast, again. You see, I tried Dairy Queens breakfast before year's ago when they first decided to join the breakfast circuit. I was very underwhelmed. I ordered what I would normally order at McDonald's, biscuits and sausage gravy. Nobody does sausage gravy better than McDonald's. NOBODY! Fast forward several years I recently decided to give them another shot. Plus there were no cars at all in Dairy Queen's drive thu. That's what they get for building their establishment directly across from McDonald's! To my surprise Dairy Queen's biscuits and gravy had improved considerably! That gravy was delicious! And I usually dislike a restaurants biscuits and gravy if it doesn't contain a high sausage content, which unfortunately for Dairy Queen's biscuits and gravy, it did not! In fact, it had very little sausage in it period! And I have never been a fan of biscuits covered in a bland or overly peppered milk based cream sauce. This time Dairy Queen got it right. Almost! Here is Dairy Queen's problem. They shouldn't have the word "sausage" anywhere in there because the sausage is barely detectable. Which would usually make me figuratively rip somebody a new one in my food review of their sausage gravy and biscuits. But the gravy that accompanied the biscuits was so delicious I had to give Dairy Queen 4 stars for it. Because I usually don't like that kind of gravy. In fact I use to hate it! IT WAS THE BEST RENDITION OF A MILK BASED BREAKFAST GRAVY I HAVE EVER TASTED! EVER! LIKE, IN MY LIFE! SO HELL YEAH! BRAVO! WELL DONE! 👋 FOR MAKING A MILK BASED GRAVY I WOULDN'T MIND EATING AGAIN! YOU MADE ME ACTUALLY LIKE SOMETHING I HAVE HATED MY WHOLE LIFE. FOR THIS YOU GET 4...
