I've been coming to this Dairy Queen for years. Service was always decent for dining in. Previously, the only problem was that the lobby fountain machine served ice-melting warm and flat soda (for years). They often ask if you want your drink filled at the drive-thru machine since they know there's a problem. Since coronavirus, the drive-thru service (that I never used before) has been a disaster. Today (June 13 at 11am) I ordered 5 chili cheese dogs. After leaving, I realized that none of them had cheese but my receipt cleared said chili chz (which they charge a lot for btw). I returned and after waiting in the drive-thru line again, I asked that they be remade. They refused and just handed me a container of cheese. I explained that the food was cold and the cheese wouldn't even melt. They literally told me that there was a microwave in a gas station next door that I could use!!!!!! I was dumbfounded. I asked to speak to a manager. She appeared and barely spoke a word and just stared at me. I explained that I would like the hot dogs remade with both chili and cheese. Again she just stared at me as if she was the one who was dumbfounded. After about 5 seconds of awkward silence she muttered something like "so you'll be happy if we remake them?" I said yes. My wife who was also there witnessing all of this told me not to eat the new food since they probably spit on them. I concurred. Please go elsewhere. You have...
Read moreOn 3/30/2021 I went to this location to buy a banana split. When I got to the location the drive thru was wrapped around the building. I spent 15 minutes waiting in the drive thru when I noticed people coming out of the lobby. So I went in. The front line was a disaster. Milk was laid out, the work areas was messy with food and trash. While in there it took 10 more minutes to be waited on with 4 people on the front line. I had to ask to be waited on. When I tired to order I was told that they where out of bananas. I was a little upset due to waiting over 25 minutes at that point so I changed my order to a Strawberry Sundae. The only good thing was how fast she made my sundae. Once I got my food and left I noticed a family of 4 walk in while I was leaving and a few seconds later they walked out and at 835 I saw a employee try to lock the doors a couple minutes later after that a man with his young daughter walked in and they were told they had closed the lobby. The lobby hours are till 9:00 PM. The Man and his daughter walked out with the little girl crying due to they were refused service during posted business hours. I finally at 8:45 was able to leave the parking lot but before I left I seen like 10 to 15 cars leave the drive thru. This was the worst ran drive thru and lobby I have ever seen a DQ ran before. I hope the GM is able to correct this because...
Read moreMy wife ordered a Reese's ice cream cake for a birthday on Sunday 7/27 AM for a pick up on Monday 7/29 at 5:00 pm. When she arrived the cake was not ready they had to put the name on the cake. When they brought out the cake she noticed they charged her for a 10 inch cake and she ordered and received an 8 inch cake. They had to reimburse her for the difference. The young lady that was attending the register, did not speak but pointed my wife to another register without saying a word. This is not the first problem, with ordering Ice Cream cakes, from this store. I called several times to speak to the owner but was told he was not present. I left a message for him to call me back and as of this date 9/20/19 I have not received a call. I have read the many reviews and there are problems at this store and it appears that they have not been addressed. I read the DQ Relations Team explanations asking for another chance and we have given you many chances. It appears the owner is not interested in customer service or I would have received a return call. In the future I will take my business to the Nicholasville...
