I give this restaurant 3 starts because while the customer service was outstanding, I’ve had problems with the food twice. The first time we placed a pickup order, our potatoes were all very hard, partially raw, and simply not edible. When I reached out about the food quality, John Aun did everything he could to make it right. Not only was he apologetic and understanding, but he was kind enough to not only refund me, but also send me a gift card to give this restaurant another try. That is definitely top tier customer service. Today I decided to use that gift card and give this restaurant a second chance for some breakfast for the family. I placed the order over the phone and the lady was very patient and friendly. Unfortunately when we got our food it was still disappointing. I ordered a side of potatoes “extra crispy” and ended up with black, soggy potatoes that my toddler wouldn’t even touch. I ordered the same meal I got last time (potato bowl with eggs, peppers, onions, and cheese). This time the potatoes weren’t raw! However, they tasted like they weren’t seasoned at all and desperately needed at least salt. The most disappointing thing was that we had received a hair hanging out of one of the condiment cups that came with a topping to the omelet my husband ordered. I really wanted to have a successful breakfast with this restaurant the second time considering the fact that the manager was so great and the customer service has been awesome, but it’s safe to say I will be calling it quits for this restaurant due to two not so great food experiences. Luckily this meal was covered by almost all of the gift card I received from the...
Read moreI am always happy about my choice for breakfast when I come here. My mom usually comes every Sunday am for breakfast and loves it. The bar is our seat choice! Cammie is a great server and is efficient and kind and always gets your order right! I cannot day enough about all of the staff. Everyone of them looks happy to be at work and it is a contagious team atmosphere! This attitude trickles down to the customers too! The food is amazing. I usually get the Classic Breakfast and substitute pancake for toast, but today I ventured out and tried the Muffin-Which!! It was amazing! Also, I am a dipper and it was great with honey and Texas Pete. The crumbled bacon and melted cheese folded inside the egg was on point! The larger sizes toasted English muffin held the large mini omelet perfectly! I also want to mention that this is the most cleanest restaurants I have been to, and their 100% A inspection highlights why. I wish they would just update their Egg count sign!! I want an updated count!! Oh, be on the look out for their signature sweet orange slices, which adorn each plate. Kudos to this place for doing all of the right things. Great atmosphere and dining experience. I have not ventured out beyond their breakfast menu for their lunch menu. I will keep...
Read moreRepeated frustrating experiences. If you have Celiacs, nothing is really gluten free and expect welts/reaction. I've asked for gluten free waffles or pancakes in the past with strawberries on them (like they offer non-gluten free versions on the menu) & have been told no, even after being upcharged for the gluten free version; we've had a waitress bring us water and refuse to bring us the drinks we ordered repeatedly, to at the end of the meal, show up with two half filled ice teas; and today while ordering an omelette (minus everything that isn't gluten free...toast, potatoes, grits, etc.), we were told there was an upcharge for fruit that I wanted to put on my up-charged half, gluten free, waffle because of the price of blueberries. I wanted strawberries on my waffle anyway, but instead I got mellon. Here's a thought, don't put blueberries in the mixed fruit if they are too expensive. It really isn't relaxing to eat somewhere where you know you will have welts anyway, but add to it being charged more for the reaction, and then you can't have the item how you want it with (strawberries) because blueberries have gone up in price. It is easier to make my food at home, skip the welts, and...
