I mean, itâs the neighborhood Graeterâs. I hate coming here because itâs just a consistent bad experience, but it never fails. My friends, my wifeâs friends, my kids friends. Somebody always wants ice cream. And I always end up here.
Most recent example. I ordered my 3 year old daughter some ice cream in a cup. She ate half of it and decided she wanted sprinkles. So I went to the counter and asked her just to put a couple sprinkles on it to please her. I told her âliterally, just a couple.â Well her response.. âIâll have to charge youâ.
Ok, so I get it. Itâs a business. They sell stuff. But when you can clearly see my 3 year old just wants a sprinkle or two, why charge me $3 or whatever it was??
Then she dumped sprinkles on it to the point you could barely see the ice cream.
THANKS again Graeters!!! You really know how to make us feel all warm and cozy inside. No but really, youâve got a bunch of managers working there that are super entitled. Not everybody, there are plenty of folks that are genuinely nice. But those arenât the ones Iâm writing about because they donât agitate me to my core.
If money was no issue, I would buy this place just to close it down. Please see my photos ! Thanks...
Read moreI was going to Drakeâs, my car broke down while in the parking lot. After eating there, I decided I wanted some ice cream. I walk into the ice cream shop, a 5â0 white woman with red hair is standing there mean-mugging me. I ignore it, walking in line. I look at the menu, I decided to go with a classic- Cookies ân Cream, looking at me she scuffs at my choice of ice cream. That doesnât bother me, everybody has their own ice cream opinion. She asked me if I wanted it as a milkshake, waffle cone, or in a cup. I ask for 2 waffle cones. She immediately looks up at me. She says âTwo waffle cones?â I say yes maâam, she immediately starts laughing. I donât understand whatâs so funny about two waffle cones. Scooping the ice cream, she puts it on there, going to the counter she gives me the craziest white woman stare I have ever seen in my life. Nearly dropping the money, I was able to hand it to her and put in a tip. She smiles delightfully for once, a beautiful smile. She then stares at me walking out the door. I walked back to...
Read moreI've been to this location a hand full of times. Each time I leave with the same thought: I should've just gone the extra few miles to the downtown location. First and most importantly: this place absolutely reeks of rotten eggs. Whether it's a gas leak or a sewage issue, it's incredibly off putting and borderline unbearably strong. The ice cream is always runny, waffle bowls stale (I didn't think they could go stale but you'd be surprised). I will say that the woman working today was very helpful and kind. I didn't catch her name, but we came in August 30th around 2pm. I have a place in my heart for Graeters so I can't rate below a 3, but it's a low 3. I'd stick to the location on campus - never had a...
