I’ve been here since it was built. I can say I’m finally over everything about this store!! There are never enough cashiers. So many are unfriendly but thank God for the friendly ones; many are slow; when you need asst returning something, most often no one cares and can see you but he/she keeps walking and offers no help. Their produce looks like crap. Their meats are not the best looking, either. The produce is often soaked with dang water hoses and old looking. Nothing looks clean in this store. Even the herbs in containers like tarragon and all—wilted and blackened and limited. Some in the deli area will purposely ignore you when you’re standing there being patient for them to just look—so you can get assistance. When you ask, a few have attitudes like “Why are you bothering me?” Also, There are way too many individuals stocking when trying to shop. It’s horrible and frustrating. Therefore, I Made my first trip to a “new” store today. The workers were friendly, and the store was amazing looking. The produce and all looked so good. After seeing this and knowing what I’ve seen in this FL, I honestly can say this FL is filth in comparison. For the record—-I returned another item recently. Bought this produce the day before; returned it next day. Went to cook it that night—opened and the smell about knocked me down. The corn they chose to wrap was covered in large amounts of green mold on each end of each small corn piece. Who allows this? People who don’t care. It caused a change in my dinner plans that night and an extra trip back—to stand in line way too long (time) at customer service until I finally had to almost wave my hands in the air—-(knowing) I had been seen prior—but ignored! A month or so back, I picked up a pckg of corn; it had a live gnat in it. The ends of the corn looked like mush. Yeah, it became trash so no one would have to deal with inconveniences due to LACK. It is...
Read moreI would give this place negative stars of I could. First let me state that I have shopped at Food Lion for 14 years and thought well of them until I encouraged my son to get a job there. The cashier manager harassed my child and targeted him because of his military service. The general manager was fully aware and did nothing about it. Guess what ladies? You have violated both federal and state law by purposely scheduling him on his days of military obligation which you knew about prior to him being hired. These laws state that employers must give time off for military obligations and can be sued if they interfere with this service and/or threaten disciplinary action as a result of such time off. Every time he needed this time off you purposely scheduled him, caused him to miss time, and threatened to fire him if he didn't work. Ultimately he was forced to quit because you would not stop the harassment. I don't support businesses that don't support our troops. You have not heard the last of this. You both need to...
Read moreEverything was splendid until I approached a young Ethiopian Boy, who looked very un well, and I asked him to show me to the extra stretchy LOVE sized magnum condoms. He was a very much a gentleman and showed me to them. He declared to me that he could unlock them at which I jumped with excitement, so I asked him if "there was a fitting room I can try these on at". That is when things took a turn for the worse. He stormed off leaving me alone in the aisle. I soon followed after him asking him for a fitting room to which and which to his preference he liked the most. He left and stormed off, I soon found him again, after all the hurt and embarrassment and that is when my life partner, Rayner, asked him where the most fine artisan cheeses where. We were both met with a cold, "I am on break, she can help y'all". We quickly left the store after that to avoid any other humiliation. My Life partner now has no Dairy product of the sort and we both now have aids due to...
