If you want to try some gourmet cookies and unordinary drinks; then you should stop by Mingo's. Mingo's has a wide variety of cookies, and they are not like regular cookies. I would say they are probably 3 times bigger and have unique favors. Some of the cookies flavors they have are Red Velvet Cheesecake, Havana Oh la la, Fruity Pebbels Cinnamon Crunch, Reese's Nutter Crunch, and they also have special as well. Mingos cookies are a little pricey, but you won't regret it at all. The cheapest cookie is $2.50 and the most expensive is $3.75. At Mingos they also offer milk Tea(Boba) and Fruit Tea, coffee, and lattes, but in my opinion they are a little pricey. The Milk tea comes in two sizes, regular $4.95 and large $7.15. This includes 1 or 2 milk tea flavors and boba flavors. If you wanted a fruit tea regular cost $6.15 and large $8.15. This includes tea flavor and boba flavor. Coffee prices range from the cheapest $1.95 and the expensive is $3. 25. One aspect of Mingos that I really like is they have a rewards program. With their rewards program you can get discounts and free cookies or drink as well. All you do is sign up for free and type in you phone number everytime you go. If you are apart of the rewards program Mingos gives you a free cookie on your birthday(Birthday Cake Cookie). Mingos has a very friendly and clean environment. When you walk in there is a couple of tables were you can sit at. When you get to the counter they have a display of all the cookies they have available for the day; which is very nice. With all that I said in this post; I would definitely recommend to anyone that they should go check Mingo's...
Read more2.17.23 about 4pm My daughter was over the moon to visit Mingos in Lexington. For boba and cool cookies! So much that we drove an hour out of our way to enjoy boba tea and fresh cookies. After arriving we took in the beautiful decor then decided to wash our hands. No toilet paper on roll but was on toilet. Trash can over flowing from paper towels. We then go to the ordering board to see which flavors to decide on. The girl at the counter told us to feel free to ask any questions. To which I ask, “which cookies are coming out fresh?” (Another girl was emptying cookie case) she very shrewdly responded with, “they are all made fresh each morning”…. Ok let’s go ahead and order a drink forget the cookie so we can sit down and enjoy our “magical” experience! Once we ordered our tea she takes the cup to the back as she is making my daughters drink she begins coughing, I’m hoping not over my child’s’ drink. Her coworker was beside her when she looks at me and says, “yeah she’s watching haha”. The girl with sinus issues hands me the drink and tells me to enjoy the rest of my day. Our experience was ruined we decided to go home and throw the drink out because I for one, am scared of another persons germs on my food. looking up boba recipes please if you make an investment make sure your business is being built properly not just handed over to a...
Read moreI’ve been bringing my daughter here regularly—about every other week—for quite some time, as it’s always been one of our favorite spots. However, we’ve recently taken a break from visiting, I was disappointed to see the experience has changed. Our drinks lacked the flavor and quality we were used to. The milk teas had powder or something in them, and my smoothie/slushie was watery rather than rich and blended. The cookies, which we used to love, didn’t seem as well-prepared, and the presentation overall felt rushed and a bit sloppy. The staff also didn’t feel as warm or welcoming as before. There used to be a wonderful team member—short with red hair—who always made us feel seen and cared for. She was incredibly kind to my daughter and me, and our orders were always perfect when she was around. We haven’t seen her lately, and her presence is truly missed.
That said, we still enjoy the atmosphere and charm of the place and genuinely hope to see things return to the quality and service we once...
