Irie flavors — Restaurant in Lexington

Irie Flavors has only been around for a short time in Lexington, but since I discovered them last year I haven’t been able to stop coming back for more. The food is bursting with flavor! Perfectly seasoned and cooked with love. From the jerk chicken, BBQ jerk pork/ribs/jerk chicken , curry chicken to the oxtail, everything has been 10/10. Their sides as well. Their Mac and cheese is the real deal. Greens, cassava fries, plantains.. The Irie punch tastes amazing. look, I gotta stop myself before I list off the whole menu.. you get the picture. I was skeptical 🫤, even warned I was going to talk bad about them if it wasn't good.

Food is a memory, this took me back to streets of Jamaica, jerk plate hot of the fire grill (was missing the smoke), but as soon as the sauce hit, the day turned into a cheat day! I needed the coco bread, rice and peas, and 2 beef patties.

Waited for 20 mins for them to even start making my food after they took 4 walk up orders after mine and made their food for them first. 25 minutes before they even started preparing my food. Drinks are left on the counter to serve and the chicken is sitting in a heater and they throw it on the grill to heat it back up to serve. Do not recommend...
