The Mancino's Pride pizza is legit tasting, the sauce and the cheese pull are awesome. The dough? The end is nice and puffy and actually delicious. The rest is thin, super soggy and you can't even fold it. It just flops over and all the toppings slide off. You need a fork and knife. The toppings weren't spread out at all, they were just all in the middle. I think the cooks fail to realize that 99% of all people start to eat their pizza from the middle after the pie is cut. This probably lead to the extreme wet crust. Again, it was a very good tasting pizza, the execution was poor. On to the wings. The wing sauce is awesome, but the wings again like the pizza, were soggy. Soft. I couldn't tell if they were lightly breaded or if that was just the skin. Baked or fried? No clue. They came out 10 minutes after our pizza did. So that was a bummer. While eating, I witnessed two employees pulling stickers off the parmesan cheese shakers on the tables and putting them back in their holders on the tables. I was curious to what they were doing, so when I lifted mine up on the table, the sticker on the bottom said "Expires by 06/24/25". It was 06/25/25, and they were putting them right back into the holders on the tables. Thanks folks, I sprinkled some on my slices. So a word of advice, don't sprinkle the parmesan unless there is an expired by date on the bottom. It was a HOT day and it was HOT in the restaurant. I understand fatigue, I had worked above a grill at a restaurant in the summer. The heat sucks. But that doesn't excuse poor execution of the food. I hope the standards rise because I'd love to try again. It tasted better than the crappy Papa John's across the plaza for sure. I'd still love to try a grinder, they...
Read moreMt first time eating at Mancino's; my neighbor has been eating here for years; he told me I had to go check it out! He was correct everything was delicious. I order the Steak, Cheese mushrooms onions and their special sauce, it came out quickly and the sandwich was very large, enough for two; it was nice and hot, the bread was baked in their kitchen about 15 minutes previously; it was toasted, hot, crunchy, and fresh, so tasty had enough left over for dinner. I order fries they were hot and came out perfect. Danielle took my order at the register she was very kind/friendly, I told her it was my first time she said “I won’t be sorry, everything is sooo good” she was correct. The restaurant had a nice lunch crowd my food came out quickly, Danielle brought it to my table with a huge smile, she's an excellent employee lucky to have someone that really enjoys her job; (most young people in this industry have their heads stuck in their cell phones could care less about customer service) she was very knowledgeable and was busy taking care of customers and cleaning tables; the bathrooms were well stocked and clean. I will recommend your place well...
Read moreWow !!! This place has been in my neighborhood since I moved here 5 years ago. It never struck me as a place I'd like. BOY WAS I WRONG ! My wife was starving one evening after shopping at kroger's and Family Dollar and dropping off a package at UPS. She needed food immediately and that was her only option because she didn't want any fast food. She went in sat down and ordered Chicken Alfredo. When she came home she couldn't stop talking about how fabulous the food was. About two weeks later I found myself in a similar situation. So what the heck. I went in and ordered chicken alfredo to go. When I got home and opened the container I couldn't believe how big it was. I'm a cook and very picky so I expected it to be maybe OK. I was delighted and stunned on how incredibly good it was. I had to wait for about 5 minutes for my order. This was because it needed to be PREPARED. Really ! As opposed to sitting under a hot light it had to be individually made for me. Delicious. Since then I go there about once a week for to go. There are always people there eating in. They all have big smiles. So either take out or dine in Mancino's is...
