This Richmond rd location is the worst Sonic location I've been to, and tonight marks the last time I give them a chance. Me and my wife really like the Sweet tea with Raspberry and Peach flavors added in. The price for this in RT 44 size is close to $8 which is quite ridiculous, but thats not the complaint because I know that ahead of time.
Out of the last 4 times I drove there to get our Teas, 3 of those times we were informed they didnt have any Tea made and wouldn't be making anymore, so we left with nothing. This last time about an hr ago, they actually had tea, but neither of them tasted like there was any flavor added to them. One of them had a red tint as if it had at least some flavor added, but the other didnt even have a red tint.
When I informed the worker over the speaker that neither tea tasted like it had enough flavor added, the worker told me they asked who made them and both teas had 4 squirts each of flavor. I told them that it didnt taste like it and I was then told that the manager said if I wanted more flavor then id have to pay extra for extra flavor.
The fact this location even has 3.5 stars at the time of writing this review is astonishing to me, because im only mentioning the final straw for me, but occasionally I do order food here and its always terrible as well. The workers here in general are not very customer service oriented, the tater tots are always cold and soggy, along with the popcorn chicken. Its the reason I stopped ordering food here and only occasionally come back when im craving that sweet tea, but now I won't even give them that business.
I didn't mention that the $8 I pay for those 2 teas, is only because I order through the app and get 1/2 price drinks, which the discount doesnt include the flavors. Without the app or happy hr price it would be close to $12. In what world does sonic think thats an appropriate price for 2 teas with a bit of flavor? $8 is wild enough, but $12 at regular price? Insanity. So when I do break down and decide I want one bad enough to pay $4, it would be nice if it actually tasted good and made correctly and I wasn't brushed off as if im just trying to get something for free.

Read moreThe employees tried to rip me off. I ordered a burger combo and I added an order of chedr poppers. Without clarifying the cashier substituted my tots for poppers. I corrected her and said no I want tots with the order and add poppers to the order. She said she would fix. She charged me $20 but I didn't quite hear what she said. I paid and she asked me if I wanted my receipt. I said yes and she instantly caught an attitude. After I got the receipt I saw why. Instead of fixing the order she just charged individually for everything in the combo. I told her this wasn't right and immediately another girl jumped in and said everything will be in the bag and the price would've been the same either way. I said no and we went back and forth for a while. They eventually just have me extra food to shut me up. Either the girls on the 6pm shift at the Richmond Rd Sonic are running scams or none of them know how to work the register. And all of their attitudes are terrible. And I know it was either a scam or they don't know how to work the register because they gave me extra food to move me along but nobody was behind me or in front of me. What's the rush? Read moreI went to this location on 5/23/21 & ordered food totaling $47.20. I waited an hour & when the food came out, the hotdogs were the wrong ones. I asked her to send it back and give me the correct ones. After the lady took the hotdogs back I realized the rest of the food was cold as if it was sitting there for the past hour instead of it coming to me. I took the food back up there & ask for a refund since it had already been over an hour & I didn’t want to wait another hour to remake the food. The manager said he gave me a refund & everything was good on his end, but the refund receipt printer was not working so I could not get a receipt for the refund & he had to keep the original for his records. I waited five business days for the refund & nothing happened. When I called asking where the refund is he told me it would take 7 to 10 business days & refused to reissue my refund. It has now been 10 business days & still no refund. I called corporate at the 5 day mark & again today & still nothing.
