Bravo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Leyden Township

So my mom and I have been eating here and the other location, but since the original owner passed away the atmosphere changed! Change is always good but this change has been so bad. My mom and I came tonight to order some food and have a beer before a long week ahead of us. The waitresses here have no customer service. The two little teenage girls that were here did not know anything and starred at us as if we were aliens. No one came to take our order.. the guy that cooks his name is Alex and honestly we love him! He came out and took our order personally. If it wasn't for him my mom and I would still be waiting to even be acknowledged!! The new owner of this place needs to do a better job at training her staff. We did not even get offer water or chips. The waitress didn’t even bring us napkins. The only reason why we came here tonight is because I'm visiting my mom.... I'm beyond dissatisfied and honestly even a little bit mad. My family and I have been coming here for a year or so. The food is pretty good and they have some good deals, but the service is absolutely terrible. You are never welcomed when you enter, and sometimes takes forever just to be greeted. The staff is cold and unfriendly, they treat your business as if it's a hassle. If you intend on getting refills or anything after your initial food order good luck. They disappear for sometimes over a half hour before checking on you, you usually have to get up or wave them over. Then when you ask for something they walk away before you even finish, then disappear again. Oh and if you are somebody who wants to know what you're being charged for don't come here. Your receipt will consist of nothing but "food item" or "beverage item". So if you think you were overcharged, good luck proving it. This town has so many better options but I was holding out for this place to get better, it's getting worse. I don't recommend unless you have 2 hours to eat your meal and...

I love the food and the staff. The owner is always there. You wouldn't even know it by the way that she works, just like a regular staff member. She and her daughter offer superb service. The drinks are to die for. If you are a mojito fan you must try their Strawberry mojito. In the summer you can sit outside and enjoy some sunlight. Everything is great at this restaurant! The only down fall is one of their servers is a bit rude and has left us unattended. Her name is Norma. I had to ask her for her name twice. Im sure she knew why. I hope this issue gets resolved.
