Red Bottle Bar & Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Leyden Township

Hello everyone, for those who value not only drinking but also having a great time in a relaxed, homey atmosphere, this place is perfect. Here, you can feel calm and rejuvenated as soon as you step into the ambiance of this establishment. The staff are very friendly, especially the guy who prepares hookahs. I appreciate when people treat everyone humanely regardless of anything. The guy asked us very often if we liked everything, and it became awkward, yet deep down, it was pleasant. I like the waiters who work there, although one girl there didn't impress me; it seemed to me that she paid too much attention to my young man, which annoys me a lot, however, I assure you, I have been there many times before this is the first situation of my life, before that, I came across very cool waiters who only advised the best dishes, drinks, and everything else! I want to note that all the waiters, in addition to knowing the menu of dishes from which they consist and the like, also tried absolutely everything that is in their kitchen, and this is a very rare thing because a person can really say their point of view without relying on any other sources! The girls there are all very friendly, the boys too, and I noticed such a moment when the guy fussed for a long time and began to worry that something was not working out for him, the girl approached him and immediately helped him, I was very touched by this, so thanks to this, the team becomes more smoothed, I like the table that they gave us, yes I'm generally absolutely everything! I really love this spot! It’s right in Elmwood Park, so it’s close to home, which is so much better than having to go far for places that are similar. This establishment is two awesome places in one! On one side, you have a bar, TVs and the whole cocktail bar feel. On the other side it’s an extremely lovely European American restaurant!

The restaurant is amazing! The food is so good and you wouldn’t expect it out of a restaurant/bar. The spinach and artichoke dip is one of the best that I’ve had because you can tell that it is not store-bought, and that it’s made there! Delicious! They calamari really surprised me though because of how well it was breaded and fried. I have officially put calamari on my list as one of the best in Chicago. The main courses that I tried were super good as well. The Zuppa di Mare/seafood pasta was so elegant and flavorful made with a black pasta, so not only was it good to eat, it was beautiful to look at as well. The cheesecake was the perfect ending to everything.

What was surprising though the drinks! They have a cocktail list that you have to try! My two favorite drinks were the P*rnstar and Indigo. They were so good! The indigo was so good that you could barely taste the alcohol, and the flavors were yummy! Try them!!!

Horrible. Do not waste your time, unless you're just going for a drink. The atmosphere is really nice. The restaurant is the nicest (inside) of any on restaurant row. The young man serving us was great. Unfortunately they need to invest in a chef. Never in my life have I sent back a pizza but after one bite, that's what happened. As soon as he brought out the pizza, one look and I already knew. It LOOKED disgusting, and that's how it tasted. Also, there's pictures of the pizza on the menu that look NOTHING like what came out of the kitchen. I couldn't believe no one stopped that pizza from.leaving the kitchen. The Caesar salad was drowning in dressing, like put it on the side. And when the salmon came out, again, how this left the kitchen looking unappealing, unappetizing, and over cooked, idk. Obviously there's no manager monitoring what the chef is serving. I worked in restaurants, and nothing we were served even looked acceptable. The server did take off the pizza and gave us a 20% discount but still spent $100+tip, and had to go eat at johnnies on the way home.
