Last time I was there I was intimidated, yelled at, threatened and called a racial slur (multiple times) by one of your employees’ for trying to return my "meal". At approximately 8:00pm on Jan 18th I went through the Drive Thru at the Liberty Center Gold Star to pick up dinner. I ordered a 3-way, two cheese coneys, and a loaded French fry. When I got home I noticed that I did not receive any cheese with my 3 way, the cheese coneys looked terrible with goopy cheese splotches everywhere and my wife’s loaded fries had so much sour cream on them she could taste little else.
I decided I would drive back to Gold Star and just request my money back since the food was sub par and we didn’t get to enjoy it at all. When I got back to the store and pulled around to the drive thru window I started to explain my issue. I asked the two people at the window to take a look at the cheese coney’s and tell me if they look right. After asking them to have a look that is when a white male employee short with a stocky build and a tattoo on his arm started yelling racial slurs at me. His exact words were “N(word) I am not giving you shit back. I made your food and I know you did something to it.” When I tried to tell him I didn’t ‘do’ anything to the food he kept interrupting me and yelling over and over again “N(word) you ain’t getting your money back.”
This is very unacceptable and nobody should be spoken to like this, EVER.
I tried to work this out privately by sending an email to Gold Star customer service but it's been a week without a reply. Maybe this will cause you to take notice and acknowledge how poorly I...
Read moreJanuary 25th 2024 around 2:11 PM, I placed an order at Liberty Township Goldstar when placing the order I ordered a combo number one with a veggie three-way a cheese Coney no onion, no mustard and a vanilla shake. I paid for my order a total of 15.09, and proceeded to go to my next destination, which was Children’s Hospital. Once I arrived at my son’s appointment, I realized I did not have a fork to eat my three-way mind you the Coney was for my son. When I called Goldstar Liberty to inform them, I did not receive a fork and it was not enough time to go back to get a fork. I was wondering if I could get a credit or come back to get a fresh three-way I also recommended that I bring the original three-way back, I was told I needed to ask the hospital for a fork and could not give me a credit or provide me with another three-way. I work a third shift as well as a first shift job and have not ate for hours. I was very disappointed when I explain this to the worker on the phone, I was told she was the general manager, and there is no one above her when I proceeded to say, I will be calling corporate. I asked for a name she refused to give me a Name , after I told her it was very inconsiderate and rude of her. She tells me her name is Summer. I love Goldstar and eat it two or three times a week. This is my first time at this location because I had an appointment next-door. This makes me want to never come to this establishment again , customers don’t deserve to spend their hard earning money at...
Read moreI typically go to skyline for my cincy chili. 2 reasons. 1. There are not many gold star locations, so it's mostly a matter of convenience to go to skyline. 2. I'm familiar with skyline and know what to expect. I decided to stop in since the location is fairly new. I must say gold star is on par with skyline. Sure, the taste is a little less sweet, however it has a more hearty chili taste which I appreciate. Like all cincy chili places the hot dogs are waaayyy to small and don't fit the bun end to end. Gold star apparently puts a small amount of chili on their coneys. Could use more. Gold stars menu has more to offer including burgers, salads, and shakes. Service was just ok. Didn't stand out like skyline in West Chester. I'll be back depending on if I'm in the area or not. Too bad they don't have...
