We visited on a weekday, about 11:30. The owner was there and he waited on us. When we were unsure of what to order he suggested we let him make us something. I'm so glad we did! He started us out with a Greek salad and then told us not to eat too much of it as he wanted us to be able to try everything else. He went out of his way to make us a beautiful assortment of different meats Gyro meat, sausage with peppers & onions, and the absolute best seasoned chicken I have ever eaten. Along with that he brought us warm pita bread, hummus, tzatziki, spicy Greek feta & another dip that I wasn't sure of the name. He visited with us through out the meal in between waiting on customers. He was telling us about the spicy sausage and said he'd send some home with us and we thought he meant a sample, he generously gave us a whole pack of the sausage and told us the best way to cook it. He had a couple customers when we were ready to leave and when we got to the register, he said, "don't go, don't go yet, wait here". He then brought out a piece of Baklava, a piece of Milk Cake and a piece of Tiramisu. I'm not kidding when I say there was enough food for 4-5 people! We took the leftovers home and had it for dinner and lunch the next day. My husband said we need to come back weekly or bi-weekly at the very least. We loved it and will be heading...
Read moreMy daughter and I had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing! My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her gyro philly and said it was the best meal she has had. She also doesn't normally eat cucumber, but she ate all of her salad (the salad dressing should be sold at Krogers). She told Konstantine that he should be on Food Network! The meal portion size was more than enough. The restaurant is clean. I enjoyed the family pictures that were proudly displayed throughout the restaurant. I watched as Konstantine and Richard were kind to every customer. I thought Konstantine knew them personally because he had a personal conversation with literally everyone in the restaurant. Then, he came over to our table to speak with us and I realized the pictures were symbolic of how he and Richard treat everyone who entered their home away from home..like family. I appreciate the kindness and generosity of Konstantine and Richard. You blessed us today and we are grateful. May God continue to bless you, your families, and...
Read moreI remember this place being delicious years ago. Found myself close enough to consider visiting. But alas, no dine in. No dine in means you need somewhere to eat the potentially messy food. That's a no go when traveling.
Other restaurants have figured it out months ago. You can too.
Edit: I want to be clear after their reply. The woman who responded to my call at 1 pm Tuesday informed me they were carry out only. A beautiful day and no mention of outdoor dining. Nice.
And this may be an unpopular opinion, but they aren't protecting me or anyone else by keeping their dining room shut. Vaccines, masks, dividers between tables, social distancing, closing every other table, and sanitizing the tables the way they always should have been even before a pandemic. That's what protects people.
And whats up with a review with a picture of food on the table a month ago? Glad someone is allowed to eat there. I'm sure that person's five star review...
