First time here. Came with some friends for lunch. Had the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. It was good and the server was as well. Nothing over the top. Everything met my expectations. My main issue is that they added gratuity to bills even though we paid separately. I don't like that. I always tip but if the gratuity is pre-added I don't always realize that and end up over tipping. In this case I did not mind because it was not that much but others were disappointed that they did not catch it because they tipped handsomely more because of the oversight. The main reason we did not catch it was because we had to go to the counter to pay instead of getting a printed bill at the table. The cashier just told you how much your bill was after you told her what you had. Then you are asked to pay by card or cash. After paying you are then asked if you want a receipt. I always take a receipt. It is then I noticed that gratuity was already added.

I noticed a lot of restaurants are adopting this practice of adding gratuity to the bill regardless of whether it's one person or eight people. Note to self: always check the bill before adding a tip. I'm just saying, #igotissues what...

No for dinner, 😒 yes for lunch.☺ Every time I went at dinner time the service is terrible. Wrong order, bad food, horrible tortillas, meat not prepared correctly. That was a few days before this last visit. My chile relleno cheese was very bad, no salad no guacamole just like that. Seems they cannot handle night shifts as well they do at more relaxed lunch time. Specially Friday-Saturday nights they have Kareoke Night with regular clients who are there just to sing and drink margaritas. So everyone else not part of that suffers the consequences. The table next to us order was wrong; they have to request twice, yes twice to get it fix.
