EAGER 2 PLEASE CASHIER! When my order was misunderstood, she corrected the problem with a smile... BUT THE MANAGER was impersonal, a bit rude, & "too busy" to show a service even close to that of his employees... I initially walked in (lost) to use the restroom & free wifi for my gps. I was greeted with an enthusiastic, "Good morning!" & a smile (nice 2 hear, being frustrated in an unfamiliar area while driving around lost in the rain.) I continued on to the restroom, & the ladies room was out of order so I used the men's. It was surprisingly clean. Afterward, I was asked if I could be helped, so I explained my dilemma. When I said I just stopped in to catch my sense of direction, the girl gave her best attempt to help with where I needed to go, admitting that she wasn't 100% sure. Now how often does that really happen? I was not expected to place an order, which was my reason for doing so. Once I finished eating, I was asked a second time if I knew where I was going. It may be irrelevant to the nature of the business, but I got the idea that she genuinely cared about me as a customer, which IS THE nature of EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Although my latte order was misunderstood (& corrected without any attitude or issues), customer service was an unexpected break in the clouds on a rainy morning, especially being smack-dab in the middle of rush hour traffic! BUT THE MANAGER? WHAT AN ASS! When I attempted to deliver praise for the awesome service I'd just received, he turned his back & RUDELY BARKED BACK at me with a UR-BOTHERING-ME ATTITUDE, telling me to leave my comments on the survey website. I thought, what a shame that i had already completed the survey & can't go back to append it with my overall dissatisfaction for Mr. Manager. At least the survey on my receipt DID serve its ultimate purpose... it lured me back in the store to redeem my free donut, ( and without even adding more work for the manager, such as spending my $ for him to have to count later. Read moreI have gone to this particular DD for years. But not because of their excellent service, rather because I am much too lazy to go to the next nearest one. No, the service and management here is a joke. Over the years, with this particular DD, I have ALWAYS had to compromise my order because if it's past 10am, they're ALWAYS out of half their flavors, be it at 11am or 7pm. Chocolate frosted? "We are out." Coconut? "We are out." Cup of water? "We are out." Honestly wouldn't be surprised if that third one actually happens one day.
Just today, my friend went at 1pm for a common donut flavor and they said they were out. So he asked for another flavor and they were out of that too. Their reasoning: "We were very busy and you're late." REALLY?? YES! They ACTUALLY told a CUSTOMER "you're late." How can someone be "LATE" if you're OPEN... for NINE MORE HOURS?? If I was rating them for customer service suicide, I would give them 5 stars. They're the best at that.
You know that feeling you get when you throw a stick for your dog to fetch and he comes back with the stick in his mouth and drops it into your palm, except it's not a stick and it's a piece of poop? That's what the service at this Dunkin' Donuts feels like.

Read moreI came through yesterday evening spent $13 on donuts and an ice cream the donuts to share with my daughter and her friends for their Hocus pocus watch party and I get home get the girls fed their pizza and everything and we go to you know get the donuts and everything so they can enjoy their sweets and the donuts were so stale and dry they could not even eat them I was so upset and so disappointed then once I tried to return the donuts after I got off work not like they were going to get any staler than they already were the girls inside argued with me and refused to replace them even though I had proof of purchase and everything my bank and everything they said I had to wait another day until I could be here when the manager himself was here the girl herself told me she could not handle it I asked her for her name and she refused to give it to me her response was she was a minor t inhat she was not a manager so I paid for another order of donuts so that my kids can have donuts with the movie were watching tonight and yeah she was basically really really rude when I went to take pictures of my donuts she was rude I could leave and then kept repeating have a nice day have a nice day okay you can go have a nice day I told them that they needed to review their reviews and go look at them because there's a lot of complaints about dry stale donuts obviously whoever they have running it in the evenings...
