Gave this place about 7 visits so far and it’s a hit or miss. I believe the milk teas are good and the toppings (and their amounts) are great but I like flavored fruit teas sometimes and that’s where they are inconsistent. I bought a lemon winter melon drink with basil seed and I asked for 50% less sugar and it tasted like diabetes SWEET. I asked to get the sugar reduced again and the lady just opened the seal just to reseal it because it was the exact tooth decaying SWEET. At another visit the lady said the winter melon flavor can’t be adjusted in sugar but the lady before didn’t say that to me. It was a waste of money. I also tried the passion fruit drink and I ordered it at 50% sugar and it was still way too sweet for my taste. I think some of the toppings have excess syrup or something. More bubble tea in Duluth, sure why the hell not. The tapioca is just sweet enough but not overpowering. The standard sweetness of the tea is not too much, so lowering the level one tier or keeping as is works great. The peach green tea had a great peach flavor with the green tea flavor I was hoping for. The strawberry milk tea was super neat I thoroughly enjoyed it.

With such fierce competition along the Pleasant Hill strip this new Bubble Tea Café comes out nearly on top of them all. I had placed Tea Top as my number 2 just behind Kung Fu Tea but this place now takes my new number 2 still trailing Kung Fu Tea.

If i could give this place zero stars, I would. I had to repeatedly repeat my order to the girl. Mind you, there was no music playing nor any drinks shaking or being made for it to be loud or noisy. She was not polite at all and she was not properly wearing her mask. It was covering her chin instead of her nose and mouth. She seemed very tired so I was being more patient and understanding since I also work in the same setting but I'm paying you for the quality service that I expect and she did not even reach the standard. Therefore, I would never recommend this boba store to anyone.There's plenty of other stores you can go that not only make better drinks but treat and talk to you respectfully.
