A Culinary Gem in Duluth - Pho Dai Nam Exceeds Expectations
From my very first visit, Pho Dai Nam in Duluth has consistently impressed me, maintaining the high standards I've come to expect from their original location. The moment I stepped inside, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience.
The restaurant's interior is a feast for the eyes – spacious, impeccably clean, and adorned with modern decor. The standout feature is undoubtedly the beautiful wooden ceiling designs, complemented by ambient lighting that creates a welcoming and warm atmosphere.
Pho Dai Nam's menu is a treasure trove of Vietnamese culinary delights, catering to a wide array of tastes. I was particularly thrilled to find an assortment of popular Vietnamese street foods, such as the crispy and savory Banh Khot and the flavorful Bo Bia. Each dish is a testament to the authenticity and richness of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
The noodle soup dishes are a highlight, with the Free Ranch Chicken Pho and the House Special Pho taking center stage. The broths are rich, deeply flavored, and soul-satisfying – a perfect blend of spices and aromas that linger pleasantly. But the true star of the show is their unique, house-made pho noodles. Fresh, with a delightful texture, these noodles set Pho Dai Nam apart from any other restaurant I've visited.
Every visit to Pho Dai Nam is a culinary journey I eagerly look forward to. Whether you're a local or just visiting Atlanta, this restaurant is a must-try. Their commitment to quality, flavor, and customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect. I'll definitely be coming back here every time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional Vietnamese...
Read moreBIG CON: I read reviews regarding how great and flavorful the pho was here so I decided to give it a try. The pho was honestly terrible. It tasted like JUST beef broth and they didn’t use the absolute necessary pho seasonings (star anise, cinnamon, etc.). It did not taste like pho at all. I always finish my bowl of pho but unfortunately I couldn’t even finish half the bowl because it tasted nothing like pho. Additionally, I understand there is a huge shortage of sriracha right now but whatever the “sriracha” sauce they put in the original Huy Fong Sriracha bottle was misleading. I looked at other tables and the color and consistency of the other bottles all looked different. I tried 3 different “sriracha” bottles before I found one that tasted closest to the original sriracha. If they’re going to use an alternative to sriracha, I would recommend being consistent throughout the whole restaurant.
PROS: They did provide a good amount of meat and a large plate of vegetables. Restaurant appeared clean. Servers were attentive and service was great.
OVERALL: I would NOT recommend anyone to come here for pho. I will never come here to eat pho again. I can’t speak on the other dishes...
Read moreI really hate doing this but yesterday my husband bought $60 worth of food. We ordered egg rolls, a pho & beef chao and the meat to the pho was spoiled so we had to throw it away. This morning I wanted to eat the chao for breakfast & the meat was spoiled & sour. I’ve had Vietnamese food because my husband is Vietnamese & we’ve ate at other place such as nam phoung, pho 24 & I luv pho even ate at the dai nam on Jimmy Carter & this was the worst order we have gotten. $60 worth of food thrown in the trash especially how expensive food is. We will never eat here or order from here again. I’m really upset because I am currently 8 months pregnant & I ate some of it & even gave my one year old some of it. Thankfully we didn’t eat too much of it so hopefully we don’t get food poisoning. Please do not eat here or order from this place unless you want to waste your hard earned money...
