Took my parents to this place for lunch today, and everything was going great until I asked the server Alice to refill the Diet Coke that I had ordered for my mom. I asked her to bring her a refill using a new clean glass and she said she couldn’t do that and if my mom really wants it then it will be a charged. Alice proceeded to say that she doesn’t want people to share the drinks. I asked her, did you see us sharing the drink? and she stated NO but she has seen other people (other tables) have done so previously. I told her I have been coming to this restaurant a lot and have been coming here for over a year now and we were never been treated so badly and humiliated like this before by her (Alice) accusing us that we were sharing the drink without actually seeing us doing it! Alice assumed that we were sharing the drink just because she has seen other people do so. Then, I told Alice to refill the Diet Coke from the same glass and she proceeded to tell me that now my mom needs to finish it first before she would refill it. What kind of service is this! When do you see a server and a restaurant’s policy that doesn’t refill your drink and demanded you to finish your drink before they can refill it when you are being charged for it???! What a joke! Then I spoke with the GM (general manager) by approaching him at the front desk/counter. He was seating behind the counter playing with his laptop without acknowledging me until I asked him if he heard about the ordeal and he said yes from the server Alice. I started telling him what happened but he didn’t allow me to explaIn, he kept cutting me off and demanded me to listen to him first. He agreed with Alice’s version until I told him that Alice refused to refill the drink using the same glass and demanded my mom to finish it completely before she would refill it or she will charge us for a new one. As GM for this restaurant, I think he should listen to his customer’s complaint first before making any assumptions. He basically heard Alice’s version and assumed his customer was wrong from the start! How can he be a GM for this restaurant? No personality and NO customer service whatsoever! I told him, so if he sees someone stealing then he would assumed everyone will be stealing??? Basically, this would be the same concept that Alice and GM have! they saw other customers sharing their drinks and they automatically thought every customer would do the same! Again, what a joke! I will never go back to this restaurant again and will never recommend anyone goes there! You are paying them for mistreatment! There are other BBQ and Hot Pot places in ATL that I will give my...
Read morehilariously terrible. we went with the platinum option due to it having bone marrow and waygu beef along with other beef cuts. When we ordered the beef and it came out, it looked different than the picture, and before we had a chance to ask and confirm if it was waygu, the server had already put all the meat on the grill without asking. He kept coming back to move the meat around without asking. I guess it was his job, but it was a bit invasive, but if he was trained, that's not his fault. We asked if this was waygu later, and they said "oh we only have the regular beef brisket." This made me very upset because we could have saved money by doing the basic option. Bone marrow by itself was not worth the additional 10 dollars. It was very delish don't get me wrong, but not worth the extra money. At the very front before you chose which meal plan to pick is where you should be informed of any meats missing that day. I also wish we were given actual utensils. The plastic spoon for the bone marrow was a little funny. There were very few lables at the buffet section, which made choosing what to grab very hard. Luckily, I could guess, but it made me uncomfortable. Management seemed bad too, we had asked one server? (girl) for the hot pot broth, and it never came, so we had to ask the other server? (guy) for it, and it finally came out 15 mins later. Also, forgive me if i am wrong, but is it not customary to have sesame sauce or peanut sauce for an option at the sauce bar for hot pot. Every other place I visited has had these. Neither was there, and it made my sauce to be very limited. The salad that I received for the kbbq was slipperly and rotten. After further inspection, it was very wilted and should not have been served. We also ordered scallops, but they were really bland and flavorless. For hot pot, the options just felt so limited. The fliet mignon was very thin and a bit gray looking but was surprisingly juicy. We had ordered sliced pork earlier with the intention of using it for the hot pot, but since the server threw all the meat onto the grill without asking, we were unable to do what we wanted to with it. It all just upset me. When it came time to pay, the server (girl) ran our card through the machine, and she put the bill back on the table. We didn't grab it immediately, and a few mins later, the server (guy) took the check and tried to run it a second time. My bf got up and speed walked over to prevent his card from being charged twice. For the price point of 50 per person and a tab of 124 bucks (after tip), i expected so much more in quality, service,...
