Nom Nom Tea & Bites — Restaurant in Lilburn

Update: So I gave this place another try. The food was good. Service was prompt this time.lol. My husband really enjoy everything we order. I do feel that it was a bite pricey but not so much where I wouldn’t go back. My only complaint was, they have an oddly smell that I can’t explain.

I really wanted to try this place out but unfortunately the service of the establishment and my temper didn’t allow me to. I saw the mix reviews but was optimistic. The place was oddly dark when I arrived and the music was too loud for a sit down setting. All that wasnt a factor, what was a factor are the two staff members that watch me stand there and say nothing. The place was not busy by all means, they were on laptops in the corner. Finally, one of the guy wave at me, yell across the room over the already loud music, “to go order?” I responded with , “no, dine in.” Im sure he disnt even hear me because of how loud it was. He then went back to playing on his computer. I hate leaving small business a negative review. Hint: the four stars. If the owner or management read this. Please put a little more effort into your business. The menu and hours attached me but the staff didn’t do it for. There was a guy who try to talk to the fact. He was nice and apologetic. Not going to hold you this is my first time here and it was amazing I came home from work late Tuesday 7/26/22 and I started to Google what was open in my area and I came across nom nom . When I first walked in and came to the desk the young lady that was there was very pleasant and inviting ..the gentleman that was working with her was also very pleasant. One thing about me I work in the service industry and I also appreciate great service even if my food being taken to go and one thing about me I'm going to (TIP ) always even if it's to go or if I sit down.. I made sure I did that for them... ...every question that I had she answered gracefully and I appreciated that I ordered the lobster bites I ordered the sweet and sour wings and I ordered the noodles with the egg on top For beverage I ordered the yogurt green tea which was recommended by the young lady .. when I got home when I tell you I couldn't keep my hands off this food it was so good I had to make sure i portioned it into so I can eat some then and eat some the next day.. When this place was first open, I had to say that whoever was in charged to design the store need to get fired ASAP. However, some of the original partners of the store withdrew after a few months which, in my opinions, was a good thing. The store was redsigned, and this time it looks WAYYY better than before. This store carries the Vietnamese street food style with many great street foods from Vietnam, and it has a wide varieties of options for customers to customize their "street foods." One of the street foods that have been staying with my whole childhood is the Banh Trang Tron ( Mixed Rice Papers with tamarind sauce, fresh cut mangoes, beef jerky), and I was so happy to know that they also have it. Well, of course, the taste will be a little bit different, but it's still better than not having it at all. Their fried bread topped with mayo and sriracha sauces is very tasty, too.
