China Star — Restaurant in Limerick Township

My food was very good. Came to the table in a timely fashion and was nice an hot. However, from a sanitation stand point, this establishment has a ton of work to do. Top to bottom and side to side, pretty filthy. I had to clean my table and chair off before I sat down. The rest room needs to.be pressure washed with Bleach (and that may not be enough!) To top it off, they have a little girl (presumably the parents own the place) running all over with NO SHOES on. I brought the cleanliness up to the counter lady and she ignored it and walked away. As I said, food was pretty good but I dont believe I will be back unless they DEEP CLEAN the restaurant. You should never feel as though you need a shower after eating at a restaurant. Absolute garbage. I was over this way so I tried them. Bought pork fried rice. It had extremely little pork and almost no flavor. China Inn (Park Towne Plaza, Royersford) gives you at least three times the pork in their pork fried rice, and a few other ingredients besides rice - scrambled egg, sprouts, etc - and it tastes wonderful. Same price. The only flavor in this PFR was the soy sauce I put on it.

I don't know how these people are still in business except for the fact that folks are too lazy to drive an extra mile or two. Maybe they make something that isn't lame but I won't be wasting my money finding out. Drive the extra mile or two to China Inn. You won't be...

Ate here 1 time and I will NEVER return! I ordered how special lo mein and I took out the chicken and added beef to it, a four piece wing and a shrimp Eggroll. Upon getting back to work with the food, as soon as I open the lo mein, I was greeted by the smell of old food. And attempt to think that it was just my imagination I tried to eat it and then when I put a shrimp in my mouth I knew that they were old. I took the food back They apologize and remade it fresh.
