The playground is really impressive to stand back and look at, but there is a complete lack of proper supervision. Smaller kids can't run around because larger kids are being reckless. Older kids are running up the slides, and trying to hit other kids when they come out of the bottom. They also like to crowd the playground in large groups preventing smaller kids from getting access, even on things like swings and other parts designed for smaller kids. In most cases, the parents of these kids are nowhere to be found. It's unfortunate because the construction of this park is exceptional. Selfish kids and their absentee parents ruin the experience. (Note- in the midst of the Covid-19 epidemic, there were probably 1000 people in the park/fields and not a single mask or any attempt at social distancing was taking place. Strongly not recommended if you take this...
Read moreHands down this is the best park around. My kids loved the PLAYGROUND when they were little because of the slides, tire swing, climbing, and unique play equipment. I always took them early, at 8 or 9 AM--before the park got too busy and/or hot. Now that my kids are older, I meet my niece there to walk. The WALKING TRAIL is huge, mostly flat, and partially shaded. People often take their DOGS. I appreciate the bag dispensers for cleaning up after the dogs. The park is always CLEAN. There are ATHLETIC FIELDS, including baseball fields and a volleyball court. Clean BATHROOMS. SNACK vendor sometimes. Plus a huge PAVILION that's available to rent, but also great for a picnic lunch with the kids anytime. Behind the playground, along the walking trail, in the woods are some PICNIC TABLES in a beautiful setting. Lots to love about this park--it was build with...
Read moreThis is a wonderful park and multi-sport facility. My reason for rating the park complex a 4 out of 5 stars is because there is not much cover from the sun around the complex. I was at the complex this past weekend for my son's baseball tournament. It was very hot and sunny. I had my granddaughter and daughter with me along with my son. Finding a shaded area to sit and watch my son play and also keep my granddaughter shaded was limited. I'd recommend that you bring your own type of covering if you plan to be at the complex for an extended period of time. Otherwise, the playground is great, there is a snack stand, public restrooms, a picnic pavilion, and a paved walkway for any type of moving exercise you'd like to engage in. The park is also easily accessible and minutes from the...
