I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani medium spicy takeout yesterday 5/14/24 evening that told me it will take 20 min and I reached the restaurant touch in 24 min. I was asked to wait reason being that they are still making it and it took another 15 minutes for me to get the order! I patiently waited and while paying I asked the person to make sure biryani is good and he said yes. When I came home and tasted the biryani it was so bland and bitter and it did not even had salt in it! My kids were hungry so we eat some! I called back to the restaurant around 7 pm to let them know biryani I was not good and the response was the manager is not here they cannot do anything. I called again next morning and spoke with someone and he said the same thing manager is not here will give you a call back once he is here. This has happened third time as before also I took butter chicken the curry was so bland when I ordered medium spicy. So I had it this time I drove to the restaurant in evening today and returned the biryani and then the person says to me again that manager is not here!!! I mean she ever there!!! To this I said I will wait as I spent $20 and this keeps happening with take out! After 5-10 min manager comes out he is so disrespectful and says it’s their policy they would not refund the food if we do not call the same day - to this I said I do not know your policy and I did call the same day. He went to lengths to call the guy who was there at counter to ask if a call came around 7-7:30 pm!! Then he is saying everyone’s taste is different and then he remembers he packed the biryani yesterday for me to which I told when I called back at restaurant the person on phone said manager is not there so total lie!!! He was passing sarcastic comments that I did not call back and then biryani is more than half finished!!! He also threw the biryani box into the trash can blabbering in some south Indian cursing language!!! How ridiculous! This place needs a new manager so so rude guy I think his name is Venkat!!! Beware for take outs!!!! The service of food is...
Read moreMy experience at Fultoo Biryani House was extremely disappointing. I called ahead to inquire about nut-free options for my child's allergy and requested dal tadka without garlic and onion. The staff assured me of the accommodations, and I confidently placed an order for
Upon pickup, I noticed garlic in both the dal orders and chutney on plain dosa ( who puts chutney on plain dosa). So I called to confirm because it may concern for my child's safety. I asked staff to confirm with chef and he confirmed that yes both dal has garlic and on plain dosa chutney has a NUTS, I order plain dosa for my 18 month old who have a NUTS Allergy. This is very disappointing. Now I had doubt for panner subji too. make matters worse, upon inquiring about nuts in the paneer subji, I was informed belatedly that it contained nuts. The lack of attention to such critical dietary information is inexcusable.
Fultoo Biryani House's disregard for customer safety and their carelessness in handling allergen-related requests are unacceptable. I cannot trust a restaurant that jeopardizes a child's well-being due to negligence. They have lost my trust and business, and I feel compelled to share this concerning experience with my friends and family to ensure their awareness. A restaurant should prioritize customer safety above all else, and Fultoo Biryani House failed in...
Read moreWe tried Boneless(Vijayawada) Chicken Biryani. Taste was nice and the quantity was good. We prefer our food with less salt and i felt the chicken was salty. I will definitely try it here next time but with a request to use less salt if possible for our order. Definitely better than other indian restaurants in the neighborhood.
Update: Ordered Gongura chicken Biryani and boneless chicken biryani. We loved it and happy with my order. I requested to add less salt and i tasted the clear difference compared to my previous order. Happy to have a good Indian restaurant to count on in the neighborhood.
Update on 2/14 - We were at the restaurant on 2/14. It was very busy and good for them but there are lot of problems which they need to solve before customers give up on them. The kitchen staff were not able to handle the orders properly. We didn’t like most of the food and they took almost an hour to serve our appetizers and another 40 minutes to serve biryani’s. We lost our appetite by the time we got our main course and had to do a togo for rest of the food. Biryani used to be lot better and its not even close to the taste we had in the beginning. It’s just a rice tossed in masalas heavily. Also, too much use of MSG. I don’t think we will order food from here again. If the kitchen was busy and ran out of some dishes i would be more happier to hear that instead of serving...
