Visited this place with 4 adults and 2 toddlers (4T) on a Friday night. Place has decent crowd and atmosphere was good. Was greeted and offered a table immediately. Ordered Apollo fish, kodi vepudu & chicken momos for appetizers. Presentations was decent but taste of all them just was average. Apollo fish came with a light liquidy gravy which tasted just like siracha sauce and taste was just ok. Chicken momos were tasteless. Kodi vepudu was burnt and pieces doesn’t have any taste. They just boiled the chicken and tossed into some fried onions with masala. Masala tasted burnt and chicken was tasteless. Very disappointed with this. Manager over heard our conversation and checked how the appetizer tasted and we complained about burnt chicken and he said “oh ok”. For mains, we ordered one chicken dum biryani and one boneless mutton fry biryani. Biryani quantities were good. Mutton biryani was really good and chicken biryani was nice too. At the end we were charged gratuity of additional 18% as we were 6 people including 2 toddlers. This is very bad, none of the American restaurants charge gratuity for kids. When asked about this, we were told they count # of plates given even in alacart. 🙂 This made me feel that we will never be going to this place again. Overall, this place is ok just for BIRYANI but nothing else. Better order just biryani “TOGO”if you have no other choice.

We went for lunch with a group of friends and we ordered goat paya and hot and sour soups along with kodi fry (chicken fry) and Malabar tawa fish fry for starters, I liked goat paya which was kind of spiced up with whole garam masala flavors, hot and spicy. Hot and sour was also good. Chicken fry was my favorite here with proper spice levels to my taste buds and cooked to perfection. Fish fry was good too with appropriate spice levels and cooked right (I liked it after adding lime juice, which is my way of eating fish fry). Then we ordered chicken shawarma wrap, haleem, vijayawada special chicken biryani, gongura chicken and garlic naans which were all so tasty. Finally we had falooda to finish off our lunch which was very delicious with perfect sweet level and flavors, creaminess and crunchiness. Serving sizes were also decent for all the dishes. I would definetly recommend this place for family lunches or dinners with friends and family and also to order food for any occasssion. Love their service too!! -Jalaja

Don’t be fooled with other reviews…!!! We visited the restaurant for dinner and noticed that the establishment seemed to prioritize takeout orders. The food quality was average. Contrary to other reviews, we found the vegetable biryani to be lacking in fresh vegetables, with only a scant amount of frozen peas present. Service was slow; it took nearly 1 hour to receive two entrees despite the dining area being occupied by only three families. The space was cramped and lacked adequate ventilation, leading to the kitchen aromas permeating the dining area. Overall, our experience felt like neither time nor money was well-spent. *******update on review****** As requested by owner, attaching screenshot from my credit card transaction. Not sure if I have receipt but will post it here if I find it to confirm that I was actually there. I would suggest instead of focusing ratting on Google and other platforms they should focus more on their food quality and hospitality.

I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani medium spicy takeout yesterday 5/14/24 evening that told me it will take 20 min and I reached the restaurant touch in 24 min. I was asked to wait reason being that they are still making it and it took another 15 minutes for me to get the order! I patiently waited and while paying I asked the person to make sure biryani is good and he said yes. When I came home and tasted the biryani it was so bland and bitter and it did not even had salt in it! My kids were hungry so we eat some! I called back to the restaurant around 7 pm to let them know biryani I was not good and the response was the manager is not here they cannot do anything. I called again next morning and spoke with someone and he said the same thing manager is not here will give you a call back once he is here. This has happened third time as before also I took butter chicken the curry was so bland when I ordered medium spicy. So I had it this time I drove to the restaurant in evening today and returned the biryani and then the person says to me again that manager is not here!!! I mean she ever there!!! To this I said I will wait as I spent $20 and this keeps happening with take out! After 5-10 min manager comes out he is so disrespectful and says it’s their policy they would not refund the food if we do not call the same day - to this I said I do not know your policy and I did call the same day. He went to lengths to call the guy who was there at counter to ask if a call came around 7-7:30 pm!! Then he is saying everyone’s taste is different and then he remembers he packed the biryani yesterday for me to which I told when I called back at restaurant the person on phone said manager is not there so total lie!!! He was passing sarcastic comments that I did not call back and then biryani is more than half finished!!! He also threw the biryani box into the trash can blabbering in some south Indian cursing language!!! How ridiculous! This place needs a new manager so so rude guy I think his name is Venkat!!! Beware for take outs!!!! The service of food is...

My experience at Fultoo Biryani House was extremely disappointing. I called ahead to inquire about nut-free options for my child's allergy and requested dal tadka without garlic and onion. The staff assured me of the accommodations, and I confidently placed an order for

  1. dal tadka regular
  2. dal tadka WITHOUT garlic and onion
  3. paneer subji (nut-free),
  4. butter naan,
  5. plain dosa, and
  6. Schezwan rice, all medium spice.

Upon pickup, I noticed garlic in both the dal orders and chutney on plain dosa ( who puts chutney on plain dosa). So I called to confirm because it may concern for my child's safety. I asked staff to confirm with chef and he confirmed that yes both dal has garlic and on plain dosa chutney has a NUTS, I order plain dosa for my 18 month old who have a NUTS Allergy. This is very disappointing. Now I had doubt for panner subji too. make matters worse, upon inquiring about nuts in the paneer subji, I was informed belatedly that it contained nuts. The lack of attention to such critical dietary information is inexcusable.

Fultoo Biryani House's disregard for customer safety and their carelessness in handling allergen-related requests are unacceptable. I cannot trust a restaurant that jeopardizes a child's well-being due to negligence. They have lost my trust and business, and I feel compelled to share this concerning experience with my friends and family to ensure their awareness. A restaurant should prioritize customer safety above all else, and Fultoo Biryani House failed in...

We tried Boneless(Vijayawada) Chicken Biryani. Taste was nice and the quantity was good. We prefer our food with less salt and i felt the chicken was salty. I will definitely try it here next time but with a request to use less salt if possible for our order. Definitely better than other indian restaurants in the neighborhood.

Update: Ordered Gongura chicken Biryani and boneless chicken biryani. We loved it and happy with my order. I requested to add less salt and i tasted the clear difference compared to my previous order. Happy to have a good Indian restaurant to count on in the neighborhood.

Update on 2/14 - We were at the restaurant on 2/14. It was very busy and good for them but there are lot of problems which they need to solve before customers give up on them. The kitchen staff were not able to handle the orders properly. We didn’t like most of the food and they took almost an hour to serve our appetizers and another 40 minutes to serve biryani’s. We lost our appetite by the time we got our main course and had to do a togo for rest of the food. Biryani used to be lot better and its not even close to the taste we had in the beginning. It’s just a rice tossed in masalas heavily. Also, too much use of MSG. I don’t think we will order food from here again. If the kitchen was busy and ran out of some dishes i would be more happier to hear that instead of serving...
