Ordered a deluxe hoagie tray for my daughter’s first holy communion. Ordered 2 roast beef hoagies, and Italian and a Turkey for the deluxe tray. I specifically said I do not want ham. I told the lady on the phone that all the kids at the party liked roast beef so we needed to have 2 of those. We picked up the tray this morning and brought it home. The receipt says 2 roast beef, 1 turkey and 1 Italian for $118. I opened the lid and there was zero roast beef and they had replaced them with ham. The kids are picky and didn’t like the other varieties. We were very upset that the kids didn’t have anything to eat so I had to scrap together other food for them. I called and told Primos about this issue and the said “sorry it must have been a mistake”. I told the lady I talked to that I wasn’t happy, they did nothing to compensate or rectify the situation just said “sorry”. This is a badly run business and I will not buy from them again. I will also be sharing my story with others and ensuring they go elsewhere.

Update: Decided to give them another shot, ordered the Mild Italian with LTO and Oil, middle of the afternoon, place was empty. This is what I got: regular Italian, no oil, soggy edges (they don't place a wrapper between the roll and the wet veggies like they used to), and much less meat than other locations. The Mild Italian is advertised as "Prosciutto, Provolone Cheese, Sweet Capicola & Natural Casing Genoa Salami", the meat was about 90% of some sort of "ham capicola", I didn't see any real capicola on the sandwich. Not worth $12. Quality went downhill quickly after being under "new ownership". They now put about half as much meat on their hoagies and a lot of the time the roll is soggy which never happened previously. I've ordered several times in the last month and my experience has consistently been disappointing. They weren't perfect before but the hoagies were a lot better than they are now.

Ordered on Door Dash a WHOLE cornbeef schwartzie for $32 with extra Russian dressing. It came with literally no dressing or Cole slaw on the sandwich. I then called to speak with the manager shockingly there wasn't one there to speak to. I told the young girl who answered that this sandwich blew. Probably not the best choice of words but from someone who grew uo in South Philly and went to the Original location many times this particular location in Royersford should be stripped of its branding.

I have eaten at many different Primo locations and I have to say the Royersford location is the worst as far as the quality of their food and customer service. All that my husband wanted for Father’s Day was a Primo’s hoagie. We are having company over for the holiday and I picked up hoagies for everyone. When I got home I opened everything up to serve the food and the whole ham and cheese hoagie had about half the amount of meat and cheese that we are normally used to getting in the sandwich. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this location. I am only posting a review for the first time because I figured before that they may have been having a bad day so I let it go. When I called up Primos to tell them what happened and asked for a manager a woman answered the phone and sighed in annoyance upon my request. The manager gets on the phone and tells me that they weigh the hoagie including the bread and everything else in it and this is how they come up with how much meat and cheese to put in the hoagie... what?!? What does the weight of the bread have to do with how much meat they put in? Sometimes, I was told, the bread is heavier than usual and then you get less meat. I just can’t comprehend this system of how their hoagie is made. Now I am left with our guests arriving in five minutes and was told I could drive back over to get another one to replace the first one I bought. That’s a half an hour of my time and my guests just waiting for me to bring their food. I’m not looking for a discount but just for them to have made a quality product in the first place. They told me that they were delivering a new one to me to fix the mistake and a full hour goes by and no one shows up. I call again to figure out where my hoagie is and I’m told “oh didn’t the owner call you”. They had the wrong phone number. The owner then calls me after 1.5 hours and starts yelling at me that I’m wrong and their hoagies are made the way that corporate tells them to and there’s nothing that they can do to fix it. She’s said if I don’t like it call their corporate office to complain. I will not be eating here anymore. What a shame that they do bad business like this. They could have just replaced the original hoagie and I would have been...
