I grew up eating yummy vietnamese food from my best friend Khoi so I was so excited to get home and eat my yummy meals only to notice when they were making it they kept going back and forth to the microwave so it made me wonder what is going on. Like an idiot I trusted them and when I opened my bag of food the noodles were like Top Ramen dried up nasty noodles with nothing in them but dried up cheap old noodles. No love went into cooking my meal at all. The beef nasty soup was so horrible I could not eat it because it smelled so nasty and old. The ingredients were not fresh at all. The whole nasty meal was all just warmed up way too long in the microwave. It was not made with fresh ingredients or with any love. The restauruant was empty so I should of known to get the hell out of there. The meal was also way overpriced at 30 DOLLARS for some nasty old dried up top ramen noodles I could of had for 2 dollars and added fresh ingredients myself from Safeway which was right there. I will never go to this nasty place again. They will not be in business much longer. You all should be ashamed of yourself for making me such a horrible warmed up nasty meal from your old 5 day leftovers. You will be getting a lot of people very sick who eat your leftover nasty food. Do it with love and not just because you have to. You should all be fired and go home....
Read moreDelicious!! Newly opened Pho restaurant in Lincoln City does not disappoint. Service is spot on perfect. We didn't want for anything, except.... For the food... we had the B1 pho lincoln dac biet and it had a unique flavor profile that was a pleasant surprise. I had the d1 bun tom thit nuong that was cool refreshing and a mix of flavor that was a delight. We shared the A3 nem cuon the peanut dipping sauce was some of the best we have ever had.
Food came quickly and was presented beautifully. . Portion size is.... bring your appetite!!
Hands down exciting to have a Vietnamese restaurant near us. However, the chop sticks were in a dish at the table for people to use if wanted. I would rather have them offered and brought to the table. This would prevent people from using them and replacing them without them being sanitized. We didn't use them.... which was hard.... since we prefer chop sticks over a fork for this type of food.
Overall, we would highly recommend. But next time we will bring our own...
Read moreThe pho broth is good but the banh mi (special) was NOT good. Im Vietnamese (but writing on my husband's profile - last name Nguyen by the way)..Anyways - authentic banh mi place...usually remove the bread's inners, making it more hollow..this place did not do that so the end result was thick bread and hardly any meat/veggies/sauce... Also, their "special" banh mi is not authentic, when i got it and opened...so excited to eat Vietnamese banh mi too..the end result was horrible and thats a understatement! The reviews writing the banh mi is good must be non Vietnamese ppl in my opinion. Also, I did NOT like the peanut sauce for the spring rolls..I make a better sauce. I NEVER write reviews, but i had to for this one especially as Vietnamese, who knows Vietnamese food. So warning ESPECIALLY to Vietnamese ppl on...
