Harry's Corned Beef & Ham — Restaurant in Lincoln Park

Friendly and fast service. Appetizers were on point.Onion rings were perfect. Onions did not pullout of the coating after being fried. Mozzarella sticks were perfect. Batter was perfect and cheese was melted. Entree was Corned Beef on toasted rye with yellow mustard. All the flavors gelled perfectly. Next was the fried cod fish platter with french fries. I actually closed my eyes and for a minute transported to 73rd street in Manhattan to a pub I used to go to to have this special dish. It was sublime. Get the ranch dressing they make fresh to dip tge fish in instead of tartar sauce. Trust me...OMG.... I decided to bring back a couple of burgers for my boys and didnt get any complaints. Breakfast there is great. You wont be disappointed by the food...

The eggs and sausage were both good and my boyfriend loved his western omelette but the hash browns were not good. I love hash browns so I was really disappointed because I seen pics of shredded hash browns so I thought that is what I would get. Instead we got what I think was fried potatoes that were so mushy they were like fried mashed potatoes. They cooked them way too long or heated them in the microwave too long as they were piping hot and burn your tongue for 15 minutes lol To me they also tasted funny.. Like they are old. They also had a strange after taste almost...

So this was my first time grabbing food and I was happily surprised. The staff was super nice and the food tasted really good. I got a turkey sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was great to me (really good toasted). The turkey was a thicker cut of deli and it make eating the sandwich good because it was tender. They didn't skimp on lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and mayo. The onion rings were a really good satisfying crunch and they tasted GOOD that I didn't need ketchup.
