McDonald's — Restaurant in Lincoln Park

Horrible service. Horrible attitudes. I work a night shift and usually will grab food on my way home around 3:30 AM. Approximately 4 times in a row i pulled up to the window and they will hit me with "sorry we are cash only right now." Now i was extremely irate the 4th time around so i just drove off with the intentions of coming back with CASH the following night. I did just that and this is what happened. I drive up to the window and im hit with the usual line of "sorry we are cash only right now" so i responded with well its my lucky day cause i broight cash! My order was taken which included just 3 breakfast burritos! I get home ready to chow, and what do i get? 3 tortilla shells with just the cheese melted on them!!!! I swore after that i would never visit this location again.......until tonight when i was really craving some breakfast burritos. So heres how tonight went down and ultimately made me leave this horrible review. I pull up to the window and im hit with......can you guess????? "Sorry were cash only right now"....but i was prepared for that!!!! So i reply with "i have cash". She then tells me just one moment....slight pause....then hits me with well it will be more like TEN MINUTES!!!!! I AM THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS LINE!!! So i ask why is there a ten minute wait? And she replies with "we are changing over our drawers." So i reply with "it will take you 10 whole minutes to change over drawers?" Then she proceeds to yell at me through the mic saying "we are changing shifts!" And i once again left irate! NEVER GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS LOCATION ON THE NIGHT...

I'm not sure what is going on here but, the service is horrible now. I tried to register my complaint directly to McDonalds but, they make you subscribe in order to do that. So, it's ending up here. I have had three bad experiences in three weeks. I didn't complain after the first one because mistakes happen. I didn't complain after the second time because again, things happen But, I can't keep quiet after the third time. Three weeks ago, I went here and ordered two sausage McMuffins with egg. When I got back, I had two egg Mc Muffins. Two weeks ago, I ordered two sausage Mc Muffins with egg and I got two sausage biscuits, no egg. Today, I ordered a sausage McMuffin and a double cheeseburger minus ketchup. After waiting ten minutes to get to the pick up window, I was handed a large coke. I told him that I didn't order a drink and he asked me again what I ordered. I repeated the order "a sausage McMuffin and a double cheeseburger minus ketchup". He went back to the food for two or three minutes and came back once again and asked me what I ordered. I again repeated the same thing. He finally brought me my order and I was in such a hurry because I had already spent so much time there, and there were so many people in line behind me honking their horns that, I assumed it was correct (why? I don't know.). I got home and I had a sausage McMuffin and, a SINGLE cheeseburger with tons of ketchup. I have to tell you that I am not very happy because I use this location a lot. What ever happened to service? Literally 10 cars in drive thru and it was not moving so I went inside. The one kiosk was not working so I stood at the counter to order. There were 5 people waiting already. Nobody helped me or even acknowledged my existence so I went to the other kiosk. That one worked until I tried to pay. It would not take my card, nor would it let me select cash payment. As I was at that kiosk, the person in charge threw 4 bags on the counter and exclaimed, "I have 4 orders ready... I'M JUST ONE PERSON." Against my better judgment, I attempted to go to the counter to order again. The person in charge told an obviously new young person to take the order from the person in front of me. She had NO CLUE what she was doing, but she was trying. The person in charge never turned to the customers to apologize for the service issues. He did however share his ass crack with us the entire time. Since when are sweatpants uniform? After 22 minutes of being at the restaurant and still haven't been able to order, I left! I was livid. Somehow these workers think they deserve 15+ dollars an hour??? 😆 AND TO THE OWNER OF THIS FRANCHISE, READ YOU YOUR REVIEWS! You are losing customers because of your staff. This location is hands down the worst fast food experience I have ever had. There are too many other McDonald's locations to choose from.
