I gave a 3 because normally this taco bell is my go to and they are usually pretty quick.. That's if you order straight threw drive threw.. Do not use mobile app I did a couple times and they screw it up if you put pick up threw drive threw.. I was not happy yesterday I placed my order head up there went threw mobile app line lady asked my name I told her then she says my order I said yup that's it.. She said go ahead pull forward.. Thinking everything is good I pulled forward wich the line just goes right into the same line as people ordering threw drive threw so they don't even attempt to make your food till you get there.. I waited in line only to get to window an young Kid ask for me to pay and says a different total I said I already paid online I did the mobile app.. He says did you talk to anyone in the speaker I said yes she told me to pull up.. Then he says ok hold on they are making it now it will be right up at this point I'm being kind I said ok thank you.. Then he opens window and says can you pull around and park in the mobile spot will bring it out.. I said ok NP pull around so then I see atleast 2 cars that were behind me who ordered directly threw drive threw get there food.. Now I'm getting frustrated because if they were making mine the people behind me shouldn't of got there's before me I didn't have a huge order.. I waited another 5 mins now I see people walking in picking up orders inside so I'm like I'm just gonna go in.. I go inside they ask what I need I tell them they said we're are working on it.. I said ok I'll just wait in here then.. So then They bring up an order I thought was mine and kid said different name I said ok where's mine he said they are working on it.. that's when I got pissed because if you were actually working on my order like you said 20 mins ago it would of already been up by now plus I watched them hand out several more drive threw orders while I was still waiting inside.. So here is my thought they did have my order ready when I got there but they handed it to someone else.. Then that caused a ripple affect and they were screwing up all the orders now.. Oh then I told the kid after he just set my food on counter and walks away that I had 2 drinks all so I had a baja blast and cherry Pepsi He brings the drinks I assume are correct you can tell the baja is right so get my stuff leave get home go to drink my cherry Pepsi and it's a root beer wich I absolutely hate.. Go figure.. Plus oddly enough my food was cold if they supposedly made my order fresh it shouldn't have been cold.. So idk maybe they just had a bad day over all I will go back again but never doing online ordering again.. wich sucks because you can only get those special box deals ordering online...
Read moreI hate to be a “leave a review” type of person, but I feel compelled to say this anyway. The people making the food & working the counter were awesome. Food was solid. But it took an absurdly long time to go through the whole order-to-go process solely because of a single self-important, mean, passive-aggressive supervisor, who, for the entire 20 minutes I stood in the lobby, berated, snarked at, & sulked around the employees over a series of extremely minor grievances. Like, yelling at them in front of customers & everything. No one had time to make the food because they were too busy being chastised over seasoning. I know from experience how stressful that is. Absolutely hated watching people get treated that way on my less-than-eternal lunch break.
Here’s the thing, managers. If you want your employees to follow through on your menial little tasks—if you want them to remember to wipe the thing, wipe the other thing, season the fries, whatever other mundanities you need to delegate with such exhausting specificity in order to feel needed in this world—you first need to treat them like actual human beings. Make it a habit, like now. You are no more entitled to respect than they are. As someone who has held both your job & theirs, I can tell you this with absolute sincerity: Whatever you’re mad about, whatever they forgot to do or didn’t do exactly the way you wanted—it doesn’t matter! :) It simply does not! The sun will set and rise again regardless of whether the fries get seasoned in your special little way. Eventually it will burn out entirely and our planet will go cold. Long before that happens, we’ll all of us crumble to dust, disappear into the ether, and who can know what follows such a thing. Probably nothing to do with nacho fry seasoning. Let it go. Treat your employees better. This goes...
Read moreI was a regular patron here for over a year, but this morning there was a foreign object in my food. I ordered three Cheesy Bean & Rice burritos and there was some kind of blue pellet in the beans in one of them, after I already finished my first one.
I'm concerned because there should be nothing pure blue in the ingredients for that item. I even talked to two managers here and they had no idea what it could have been. To be honest, it looked like the pellets of rat poison that are sold in stores.
The first manager I talked to, Ashley, hung up when I called to ask about the situation and she didnt seem to understand the seriousness of the issue. Her attitude was that she cooked the food, so nothing could be wrong with it. I used to work in fast food and this wouldn't fly... indifference to food contamination is just playing with people's lives and health.
I really loved coming to this Taco Bell twice a week inbetween work and errands. I really looked forward to the food given the good price for what you're getting and the employees were always super nice (except the one I talked over the phone to) even though it seems understaffed and the cooks do a lot of hard work. I've seen John working there a few times and he's always seemed like a great manager to work with who cares about customer service....
