Abelardo's Mexican Fresh — Restaurant in Lincoln

I have eaten a few times at Abelardo’s both in Lincoln and omaha.

I will say if you want to get the best bang for your buck …..

The 1/2 order of super nachos will go a long way to filling you up. It’s huge! Seems like nearly about 1/2- 3/4 of a pound of meat on this plate. I can polish the whole plate off but it’s no small task. It large enough to share, grab some extra chips from the salsa bar to even out the amount of meat on the plate and you will leave full.

Great fast service when you are in a rush and hungry on this side of Lincoln

I have got the 5 tacos on Tuesday and they are good.

The Burria tacos are probably the best tasting item in the menu and the super nachos are the best value

Overall 4 stars for value and taste from me for fast food. That being said I think I get the super nachos each time I’m in Lincoln on this...

Absolutely awesome!! We had never been before but have seen them popping up around Lincoln. We ate at the new restaurant near I-80. Its convinient because it is right off a major highway, and next to a gas station. They have a large menu and a complimentary Tortilla Chips and Salsa bar. I got the 3 Birria Tacos. My spouse got the #18 Two Carne Asada Burritos with beans and rice. My eldest got a Kids Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla with fries which she split with my youngest. We ended up taking alot of it home. It was on the more pricey end but WORTH it. You get alot of food for your purchase, and it was like two meals in one. Which is awesome! With such a huge array of menu options I picked the two burrito meal on my first visit and I was definitely surprised. The two burritos were freaking big and delicious. I took a burrito and half of the rice and beans back to my hotel for dinner. That's $14 well spent. That's $7 a meal and that's unheard of unless you order from a value menu somewhere. But I guarantee that you won't get this much food and flavor for $14 anywhere. I might also add that they have a little salsa bar. The avocado salsa has fantastic flavor and a nice heat. My second visit was through the drive through and got the steak and shrimp Diablo burrito. ($12 and worth every penny) Freaking delicious!!!! I still added the avocado salsa to it for the extra heat kick. Great food, great prices, great customer service....
