DaVinci's — Restaurant in Lincoln

8-13-21- (27th & Superior) - thought we would give them a second chance last night. We were reminded why we didn’t like them the first time. We ordered a medium double pepperoni pizza (August special), order of 6 hot wings, and a 4 piece garlic cheese bread. We included a $5.00 tip so the order was over $30. Almost 45 minutes later, we get it. The pizza was lukewarm, had very little cream cheese, did not have double pepperoni, but had excessive red sauce on it. This pizza looked like it had been sitting for a while. The hot wings according to my husband, said they were mediocre but he has had way better. The very small 4 pieces of garlic bread that we did get, only two pieces actually had cheese on them. I don’t know what type of operation they’re running out of the kitchen but according to our second chance, I am truly in disbelief how they keep their heads above water. Now, the daVinci‘s on 44th and O, Would put this place to shame 10 times over. You got us twice, but guaranteed it won’t happen a 3rd time! AVOID...

Ordered at 6:45 with an hour delivery expected time. Called in at 8 asking when we could expect delivery, was told they are on their way....8:30 hits still no food. Called again and asked when we could expect our food, was told that they had 6 deliveries ahead of us on the way and was told don't worry you food will still be hot when it arrives....got the food and...... ice cold. If they would have told me right away or sometime in between it would be a longer arrival, it would have been fine. But nothing...and if the food would have been hot/warm fine.. . But to order food and have it be double the time for estimated delivery and cold, unacceptable. No apologies from anyone at the 27th and Superior location. Won't waste my time or money on this location again. Gave it another shot after 5 years and...

Ordered from the superior address while staying at the Comfort Suites which was literally 0.2 miles from this location. I waited well over an hour for a pizza I was told would be delivered 30-35 minutes. They told me after I called the first time that the driver called me which I did not receive a missed call. Secondly I gave the hotel name and room number.... what is so hard with delivering to the room number? So all in all I ended having to cancel my order because they closed at 9, mind you I placed the order at 7:48pm. Definitely unacceptable!!! Not to mention the gentleman I spoke to last hung up on me. I am very disappointed in the service. It is not hard to drive to a hotel that is literally minutes from you and deliver a pizza. Needless to say we did not...
