Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Lincoln

We ordered takeout on the app. There are many combo options to choose from so everyone is sure to find something they like.

When we arrived we noticed an employee outside standing in the drive thru taking orders. It was 22 degrees and windy and she didn't have a coat just a hoodie. Apparently their system was down so she was ensuring a seamless experience for folks in the drive thru.

Our order was ready at the time stated. And the food was good. My companion had the steakburger, fries, and a thick turtle ice cream blend comparable to a DQ Blizzard. I had a black bean burger, fries, and a root beer float Freddy's fries are super thin like shoestrings and come with multiple sauce choices. They are more salty than other brands so have a beverage handy. The burgers were good. The black bean burger falls apart so had to use my ice cream spoon to eat the last half.

The interior is comparable to most fast food places although a bit nicer than the molded plastic appearance of a McDonald's with wooden chairs and tables.

Handicapped parking is available at the end of a ramp fairly far from the door. There are no automatic openers on the two sets of doors so you will need help to get through them although the inside is easy enough to access once in. Not many places in Lincoln get 5 stars from me because it takes a combo of products and services for a location to earn my business. This location of Freddy’s is wonderful each time so I felt I needed to say thank you! The food has never not been fresh! Fries, burger, dog, onion rings: all hot and fresh every time I have been. The burgers aren’t sloppy and actually build with care. Now the fries can be salty so I ask for them without sometimes and add my own. The burgers are a different type of good! Smash burger is the only other place I know that has a similar char taste and texture yet juicy and meaty! The service here is also on point! There is a manager with long purplish hair who is awesome and i should have got her name! But she is on the grill, on the registered, checking drive, and walking and clearing tables like a good leader should be, an example! The floors and bathrooms are spotless and parking is okay but I have seen worse. I recommend this Freddy’s if you are passing by down 27th! ...

This is getting to be a joke. Places closing early because them claim they do not have help. We went here last night and the hours on the door plainly says that they close at 10pm. But yet they hang a sign on the door closing at 8pm. Why? When you have plenty of people walking around inside your store. I even tried to call in. Do you think that one of the non-working employees can even answer the phone. Well that is a big fat NO. There was another family(5) that wanted food who had to go thru the drive thru. Yes that is right. If you can not open the inside then the drive thru doesn't need to be open either. Should not be able to make money off of one and not the other. We drive truck so either option was closed to us. This is ridiculous and unprofessional as hell. And there should be a stop...
