McDonald's — Restaurant in Lincoln

I'm not the kind of person that likes to leave negative reviews. I like to give a business the opportunity to improve the quality of their service, as well as the quality of their product. This establishment meets none of those expectations. It is a constant circus of chaos and disorganization.

There seems to be no care whatsoever from the leadership that they have a crew that is incapable of performing a well-planned method of serving food quickly, but with a level of quality you expect when spending money. I feel that this establishment does not respect the fact that I have invested some of my income into their establishment.

There are plenty other McDonald's restaurants in Lincoln, Nebraska that perform way better. I've never had issue with South 48th and Van Dorn. I've never had issue at McDonald's on North 27th across from Walmart. This McDonald's however, has not given me one experience where I feel they excelled. I'm not sure if the owners of this establishment are aware of how their business is being handled. If they do, then you get even less points. If the owners are not aware of this, this is also a concern.

If I owned a restaurant of this magnitude, I would make sure that I invest a good portion of my time to make sure everything is running properly. If you can avoid this establishment, I would definitely recommend that. I hope that the executive leadership of this location makes a decision to overhaul the staff. I would say more the management than the shift workers. I do believe that leadership is a main impact on how a business works, and how successful it is. Respected, though. It seems that the leadership here either gets no respect from their staff, or has no respect themselves.

I live very close to this Mc Donald's. Out of the last 50 times I haver visited, at least half of them I have had to call the store, and complain because something was messed up. They forget to give straws in the drive through often as well. If you order something specific on a burger, 9 times out of 10 they either wont put it on there, or they will ONLY put that on your sandwich. As for performance, this location has a very poor track record with me. On average during a rush hour, expect at least a 15 minute wait. As for service, when they run out of something, the don't let you know while you are placing your order, the fries after rushes are typically past hold times, and by this i mean, either they are so soggy they rain fryer greese when you squeeze them, or they are so had that you feel like you break a tooth. At one point, all fries looked like they were burnt right out of the frier.

All in all, this location is a very poor location to get a meal. I suggest driving 2 miles north to the mc donalds by Walmart, or the one on 11th and Cornhusker. Strongly recommend you stay away from this one.

If you order is messed up, there is only a 30 minute window for you to call in and report it, and you must have/keep your reciept until you return to get your order fixed. If after 30 min, they will not correct...

I would like to give this location a 5 star rating, but I cannot at the moment. The last couple of times that I have been there, my order has not been made correctly. When you ask for extra cheese on your Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuits I expect to get extra cheese. But I didn't get it, I even paid for it and I still didn't get it. When I called the store back I was told that they were going to put my name in a book and then I could get my sandwiches on my next visit. Well unfortunately they didn't get my name in the book and so when I went to get my sandwiches, they didn't know anything about it. They did make it right, but I did have to go inside and show them my pictures of my last sandwiches and the lack of cheese that wasn't on my sandwiches. I also had a picture of the make tickets and the original receipt. Now with all of that said, they did give me my sandwiches and they were made correctly and I wasn't charged for them. But it seemed like a lot of extra work for a couple of Free Sandwiches. Also, the two times that I've been there the biscuits were also dry and hard. Obviously not something that I expected from McDonald's. I will say that this location is the only location that I've had a problem with.
