McDonald's — Restaurant in Lincoln

We didn't go inside so I have no idea what the atmosphere was like but the food was fresh, hot, and tasty and the service was great. The kid at the window greeted us when we pulled up and thanked us when we left. Told us to have a nice evening. That's really unusual these days.

UPDATE: Wow, a lot has changed in two years.

1. There is NO counter service unless you're paying with cash.
2. When you walk in, there's nobody there to greet you. It wasn't just us. I watched seven more customers come in and none were greeted. The only humans we could see were working the drive through or running (literally) online orders out the front door.
3. The parking lot was completely packed with snow, 24+ hours after the snow stopped and people don't know how to park so we ended up taking up space in one of the online pickup spots.
4. Placing our order at the kiosk was quick and painless, but then we waited 28 minutes to get one Big Mac meal, one double cheeseburger, and one chicken sandwich.
5. When our order finally came out, it wasn't right. Instead of a double cheeseburger we were given six chicken McNuggets, which triggered a seven minute wait at the counter to finally make eye contact with someone who would actually spoke and corrected their mistake.
6. Of the seven other people who came in after us, five were still standing there waiting for orders. I believe most were Door Dashers but there wasn't a single order ready. One DDer who was there when we walked in was there for at least ten minutes before her pickup was ready, but it was also wrong and they had to wait to see a human behind the counter. Another 5-7 minutes.
7. The boxes and wrappers were all covered with greasy handprints. Gross. Please just wipe your hands off occasionally.

Is this normal for McD's? Or is this just this location? It seems like McD's has changed their model and really don't want people coming into the store. They seemed to be focused only on the drive thru and online pickups waiting outside, because those were all turning over very quickly.

I ordered off the App. In my order I had 2 filet of fish sandwiches. I wanted pickles (extra) & onions added Only extra (extra) pickles were available. When I got to the speaker to confirm my order I told the person I wanted Onions added to my sandwiches & that there was no choice for it on the extras options just the pickles. It took her a minute to come back & say we can't do that. (What? Are you kidding me?) So I say Okay I want pickles on the side then. I pull up to the pickup window, get my food & don't see any pickles on the side in my sack of food. I asked where the pickles were & She said they're on the sandwich, check your sandwich. Uhm, I thought she said they couldn't add them to my sandwich. So I open the box & half the tartar sauce along with the whopping 2 pickles (I ordered extra, extra) is slopped off on the side & not on the sandwich. Also no pickles on the sandwich. So I told her they were not on the sandwich. So I waited while they got my onions. So I drive away & grab some fries.. LOL! Not even...

If you come here between morning-noon, it's fine. But in the afternoon when the teenagers are running the place, it's appalling. The employee carrying my bag dropped it on the floor. I politely requested that they discard it and remake it. The employee who dropped my bag rolled her eyes, SNATCHED it off the counter and LOUDLY announced "the guy at the counter wants it remade". Someone asked why, she said because it dropped on the floor. Just about the entire staff LOUDLY PROTESTED. Evidently food safety isn't a priority. I patiently stood at the counter while waiting for the remade food. One of the employees thought I wouldn't hear the snide "be careful, he's watching our every move" remark.

Whom I assume to be the shift manager passed me the remade food as if nothing happened.

I come here frequently but that will change, if I'm going to be met with sheer indifference. Very disappointing experience all around. The franchisee and general manager should be ashamed if this is the best attitude out of...
