I’ll leave two reviews: one for the food and one for the business side.
The food, when done well, can be fantastic! The tacos are great and unique compared to other places and the margaritas are good! Unfortunately, hit’s not very consistent - I went 4 times and only twice were they good. I went multiple times because we wanted Mexican food sered at our wedding and we thought this was a good place since the first time I ate there the food was great.
The other review is for Lisa, the owner, and just the business side of things. The place needs some better management - even basic management and business practices would help here. This is a family business they say and it definitely shows - service is slow, inconsistent, and vibe is bad. Like i said, we wanted to have them cater for our wedding bc the food was pretty good (mostly). They agreed to do it but were so inconsistent, unprofessional, and lacked organizational processes. Ultimately, they essentially backed out late in the process for no real reason (and said their costs were too high with inflation and they didn’t have a functioning car to take the food to our venue). We found a different place that was less expensive and better food with a month and a half until our wedding. It was very stressful!
Overall, they were not good at business but they can make some good tacos (most...
Read moreWe went yesterday and were the only table being served for the first 30mins of our time there. Blender was broken, so she asked me if it was okay to serve Margarita on rocks. I ordered a flavor they also didn't have in stock, so I had to choose something different. Waitress was asked twice to bring water out for our table (two diners at the table) and both times only brought one glass. When she brought our entrees out, they came one at a time, probably 6-8mins between. My companion has already eaten a third of his plate before mine came out. I ordered Fajitas which came out on a skillet that was sizzling so long that it made a mess all over the table. She also did not bring the rice , beans, tortillas and other sides of my meal until I asked where they were. Refills on water were very hard to come by and the neighboring table asked for napkins when they were served and she never brought any back. In fact, she disappeared after she served them their food and we didn't see her again until she came to inform us about how to pay. Food was great, atmosphere was more of that of a bingo hall than a restaurant, and the service was very subpar. I would go back again, but definitely be ready to be patient for your food and drinks. Might be better just to order ahead and take...
