My apologies in some grammar mistakes, but I’m unable to edit my text for some reason.....so I tried to proof read....!lol
I grew up with Pizza Hut as a child. One of only 3 restaurants originally that I can remember. In David City Nebraska. (Sadly it’s closed now for some reason). But I State that, cause I have about 30 years of experience enjoying Pizza Hut Pizza. The “pan” when it came out, was like McDonalds when it had come out with there “chains” of restaurants. It was a big deal.
With that all said, I’m sad to see that the “pan” Pizza along with other things is definitely different and has changed quite a bit; from what use to be heavenly awesome. “Like the old days of “Book-it”, (personal baby pan pizzas and star stickers for all of you out there who know what I’m talking about!?! (Great reading program for young students, amazing reward of a personal baby pan pizza anyway you wanted it.).
But I think I know why, things have changed.....which is the same for many things these days. ($ Money). Sacrifice quality for profit.
Anyway on to my experience on 11-16-17.........
I called in my order for “carry out.” The lady there working that night “Beth” (from a small town as week originally) was simply awesome. Super kind, pleasant, cheerful and extremely helpful. I know this, for not only my experience, but watching her handle an order/checkout/& question from a customer with upmost professionalism to a tee.
She rang my order up, no problem, as was the over all experience, for what the employees (including the one who made my pizza) are/were in control of. So to them, I give them 5 stars! No doubt about it.
The quality of the food, is where I get into the mid-lower levels of rating.
Back in the day the pizzas used to be a lot heavier. I mean heavier as in all aspects.
By that I in specific mean, that the dough both in the pizza and breadsticks is way way more “light”/“fluffy” in its consistency/volume/and overall mass. The “Pan” Pizza use to be so heavy (and no it’s not because I’m an adult vs. a child now lol) that you had to use two hands.
In addition the breadsticks “use to be” “the bomb no diggity no doubt grand master flash” sticks of the world, with their heavy buttery garlic sauce painted over the top, then a blizzard of whatever the heck they do if awesome Parmesan cheese on top of that. Crispy on the ends, that can only be accompanied with thee best marinara sauce in thee entire world, BUT.........that has even been “severely watered down” to a level of “what the heck did you guys do to my sauce!?!”
So yeah, I should wrap this up, but I feel everything is about a 1/4 if what it “use to be.” Back in the day, (like 1989-1990) when Pizza Hut was King Commando of the Hill, and everyone else who tried to climb and stand beside for a second, got thrown off to the bottomless pit of pathetic fools for even trying to be cool as Pizza Hut........ hole of doom!
So common’ P.H., get back to basics, and I promise you’ll come back to the top of the hill once again!
Sincerely Matt...
Read moreI called to make a delivery order and the person on the other side said that my order will be delivered in 15 minutes. I thought this was awesome and couldn't wait for my pizza to arrive. 50 minutes later I get a call from the delivery man saying that he is waiting outside my apartment to pick up my order. I told him that i placed my order 50 minutes ago and it should have taken 15 minutes. I told him that I shouldn't have to pay for this late service. He then hung up and left. I called the store and requested the manager. The manager from the start of the conversation was very rude and aggressive. I told her my issue and said that it takes up to 50 minutes to an hour for orders to be delivered. I have never ordered from a place that took so long for delivery, especially when they told me that it would only take 15 minutes. I thought this place had poor organization and communication skills, workers were ill fit for the position, the manager was not customer friendly and the experience was downright horrific. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I hope they find someway to fix...
Read moreI ordered that $7.99 deal form this location in Lincoln, NE. I ordered extra cheese as well as a few extra toppings and some boneless buffalo chicken. After about an hour and a half, I finally got my pizza. Not only was it cold but it didn't have extra cheese, it was missing one of the toppings I paid for, was super salty for some reason and had no sauce at all on it. My boneless chicken was also cold and soggy. I tried calling to complain but they said it had been 2 hours since they delivered my pizza so they weren't gonna do anything. 2 HOURS?! Keep in mind, I called about 20 minutes after getting my pizza. Can someone tell me what the hell the delivery driver was doing with my pizza for an hour and a half?! I literally lived a few blocks away from the Pizza Hut I ordered from. Anyways, I paid around $30 for my food and was severely disappointed. And the fact that they wouldn't do anything to fix it left a bad taste in my mouth worse than the pizza i paid money for. I think it's safe tom day I won't be ordering here again...
