We have been wanting to try Rita's for quite sometime, but had a hard time making it, as they do not open till 3 p.m. Finally we made it and waited in the parking lot until doors opened promptly at 3. We entered, my partner needed to use the restroom. I looked around and got a reluctant hello from the gentleman behind the counter. I told him it was our first time in, he did not reply. I had to search for menus, and finally located them and took a table. My partner emerged from the restroom from washing his hands, and informed the gentleman that the toilet was backed up and disgusting from former customers. He huffed and said nothing. We were questioning if we should stay or not. We decided to take a chance. I was excited for some really good broasted chicken. I ordered the 3 piece dinner which came with potato wedges and choice of 1 other side. I. Inquired if the potato salad was sweet, he replied he didn't know as he doesn't like potato salad. I decided on the coleslaw. Tony ordered the *32 Steĺa's garlic combo. We ordered water and a soda which was self serve. The diet Pepsi had b I carbonation, the iced tea was also out of order. I informed the worker and they eventually brought a bottle of diet Pepsi. We waited for about 25 minutes and finally our order was brought to our table. The potatoes wedges were generous, the chicken pieces were rather small, and were greasy and lacked flavor. The coleslaw was obviously premade and came out of a carton. The pizza then arrived it looked good, cut in squares, it was pretty good, but wished it had more depth of flavor, especially garlic, as the title indicated. Our bill came to over $40 for a small pizza and chicken dinner. Overall very disappointed. No atmosphere no music, lackluster non personable service and mediocre food. This little restaurant has potential, just add some flavor, make your sides from scratch, put some paintings on the wall, turn on some music and some personality...
Read moreTerrible experience. My wife and I came to Lincoln for a family members wedding the next day. We spent 9 hours in the car and didn’t stop for dinner so we wouldn’t get in too late. Ordered a pizza from here at 11:02 PM. Talked to a Colton on the phone. Had to repeat the address 3 times before finally confirming it with him. Same issue with taking my phone number, placing the order, and giving him my credit card number. I was a little curious about this place give them he ordering experience but was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt cause restaurants can be loud and phone connections can be poor. We ordered 1 Large 14” chicken Alfredo pizza with 3 sides of ranch. Was told food would be there in 40-60 minutes. Long time goes by and I call again at 12:26 AM asking if my food was going to be here soon. Phone got handed off to someone else and he told me he didn’t know the details but they had to remake the pizza and the driver was on the way. Pizza arrived 5-10 minutes later and driver said: “sorry for the wait, had a mixup with the directions”.
We had to wait 20-40 additional minutes. Call twice. Got 2 different excuses and on top of that the pizza was missing the bacon listed in the description on their menu. This wasn’t a special order pizza this was one of their own and they didn’t have an ingredient on it. They also only sent 2 ranches instead of 3. Driver gave me 2 coupons for $2.00 off each. They are delivering to a hotel do they really think $4.00 in coupons is an appropriate way to placate an upset customer who isn’t from the area? I’d rather get a sincere apology taking responsibility for making us wait double the quoted time.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever. They seem to lack job competence, responsibility, and service industry specific...
Read moreDo not eat here they have HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, with many health code violations and RACIST VIBES ! If I could give this hole in the wall 0 stars I would. My fiance and I decided to go get some chicken last night when we walked in the lady that took our order stared at us with the look like she he has never seen two black people before (if you are black you know what stare I'm referring too) she didn't greet us as at all. While taking our order with her toes out and flip flops on she proceeded to give my fiance a unprofessional attitude while taking our order. As we sat in the lobby we noticed there refrigerators are located in the lobby. Food should not be stored where customers eat at. For what reason I have no idea. When our food was done I asked the lady that took our order for ketchup and hot sauce. After giving me a disgusting look she slammed the ketchup packets on the counter and handed us our food. She didn't say "thank you for coming" or "have a nice night" just a cold stare. I repeat again DO NOT EAT HERE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK they do not appreciate our money. Go somewhere your money is appreciated. When we arrived home we began to eat , and the food was below average. I would rather eat a bowl of cereal for dinner in the comfort of my own home then ever ever eat here again. The baked beans tasted horrible 🤢, right along with the coleslaw. The fries were overcooked and undercooked. Even as a last result do...
