Hmmm... how to describe my experience here. I was craving for a nice, hot and toasted sandwich here in Lincoln, Nebraska. I decided on Sid's Deli & Subs. Maybe I'll get it Sid's Way! I used Google Maps on my phone to find Sid's Deli & Subs. To be honest, I didn't check the Reviews, but I figured the pictures looked decent so I went with it! I got there and the place looked mostly similar to the pictures on Google Review. I see one man working on a customer's high-quality sub from Sid's Deli & Subs and another man standing away from me. This guy, whoa, instantly turns around and just stares at me. Odd, but okay - smile and nod. This is Sid's Deli & Subs! He's probably excited to make me up a high-quality sub or sandwich. Anyway, I finally decide on a sandwich. The staring man instantly started on my order while the other man was finishing up with the other customer. We go to check out and do the payment and I get asked to sign a receipt with tip and everything. The man grabs my receipt and fumbles a little then rushes to the back of the store. Huh? Weird, I thought. Did something happen to my sandwich? Then, I look over and see the other man who was helping with the previous customer microwaving my fresh ingredient sandwich... I was a little befuddled to say the least! What about the high-quality, fresh ingredients!? It's okay though, because at the end the non-stary man gave me an extra pickle with my hot, high-quality, fresh sandwich! Impeccable service! Definitely worth coming into if not just for an extra pickle. Now, to the sandwich. It was definitely a sorts of a high-quality fresh ingredient sandwich with huge portions. I have a friend named Mike who has a way with sandwiches. He said the sandwich had a huge portion with excellent presentation and wanted to take a bite instantly. Fantastic! he screamed. Mike thought it was the best sammich he has ever tasted - hands down. It was like Sid's Way came through, a guru of a Sandwich & Sub restaurant! We decided to look up where this place was again. It was a little unusual finding the place since it was showing they are Located on top of another Business, but I could maybe see where they're coming from. They just want to be the most popular sandwich shop located in Lincoln, Nebraska that offers a wide variety of high-quality subs! Anyway, since I had difficulty finding their address online here it is - 5001 O St B, Lincoln, NE 68510.
Edit: This restaurant is efficient! I woke up the next day still thinking about Sid's Deli & Subs. I wanted to see their variety of subs on their menu again, so I searched Sid's Deli & Subs and to my surprise the location changed to 3255 Cornhusker Hwy Suite 4, Lincoln, NE 68504. I was certain it said 5001 O St B, Lincoln, NE 68510 last night. I decided to investigate! First, I made sure the address on Google Maps was the same as my laptop search - it was. Second, I took a stroll in my car to the new address - 3255 Cornhusker Hwy Suite 4, Lincoln, NE 68504. To my relief, there it was. Sid's Deli & Subs located at 3255 Cornhusker Hwy Suite 4, Lincoln, NE 68504. Thank you, Sid's Deli and Subs for being more clear on your directions. You are a very welcoming restaurant that meets people's expectations. I definitely don't want to miss out on fresh, sliced...

Sid's is still slinging awesome sub sandwiches. I'm here at least once per week for lunch. The only thing I can think of that would make this place even better is if they bought a rapid toaster. They accept Apple Pay! Sid's took over the spot where Little King used to be. I was initially sad that Little King wasn't bought by someone else when I saw the opening soon sign a couple of months ago. I don't know when Sid's opened, but I saw them open last week. I decided to try Sid's for lunch today. The layout of the restaurant is the same as Little King.
I have tried 4 different 6-inch sandwiches all on French bread. I enjoyed all of them. I tried the Bacon Potato Ranch soup 2 times. It was ok, but I thought it was a bit too thin and bland. I had was Rice Krispie treat which was good, a big cookie which was really good, and one of their brownies which was amazing. The chips are a nice addition as an optional side.
The restaurant is clean. I include the bathroom in this assessment. I really appreciate it when the employees keep the bathroom clean. Customer service is great. They make customers feel like they are appreciated when they walk in the door. I highly recommend Sid's as a place...
Read moreWe were traveling thru Nebraska and wanted to try a Reuben sandwich. There were a lot of choices with great reviews but none as high as Sid’s. We entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted. We ordered a Reuben and a Philly. They took the meat out and hand sliced it for the sandwiches. All the ingredients were very fresh. This was the best Reuben I have eaten. The generous serving of meat was tender and juicy and full of flavor. The combination of salty, tart and sweet was the perfect combination for the sandwich. My husband really enjoy the the Philly. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The bread was soft and fresh. I highly recommend. All the sandwiches I saw being made looked amazing. The employees were...
