Marley's is an excellent example of a fall from greatness.
I remember the days when Marley's Gourmet Sliders was the go to place for breakfast. My co-workers and I would eat there 2-3 mornings every week. The burritos were delicious, the sliders were life changing, and the service was unmatched for a breakfast place.
Unfortunately Marley's is no longer anything to brag about. I can not in good conscience recommend them to anybody. The food prices have gone up multiple times, while the food quality has gone down considerably. The burritos are almost all potatoes, you are luck to taste the meat at all while you eat it. The sliders are now throw together and taste like they are frozen breakfast sandwhiches warmed in a microwave. I don't even know where to start with the "service".
On my last visit to Marley's I was looking for a quick breakfast on my way to work. I pulled into the drive through behind one other car. After sitting behind that other car for a few minutes I assumed they were placing a large order, but then they pulled away and just left the parking lot. I pulled up to the drive through and waited for a few minutes with no response. Not ready to give up on breakfast I parked my car and walked inside. The two employees that were there were not working at all. One of them was sitting on the counter and the other was leaning against the wall and they were just chatting with each other. The employee that should have been managing the drive through had her headset around her neck and neither of them noticed I was even there until I said something. I placed my order to-go and filled my drink. After a short wait my food was brought out and I left. When I got to work and opened my breakfast and was severely disappointed as my sandwich was nothing but half a bun, a cold piece of sausage, and an unmelted slice of cheese.
All I can say is Marley's was once a great food establishment, and they have lost a previously loyal customer. I can honestly say that you can get a better breakfast sandwich at a McDonalds with the way they are currently operating. I don't know where they went wrong, but I doubt I will ever...
Read moreCompletely disappointed with my service, I received on Friday. It was my first time going and I had high standards from reading previous reviews. But I will for sure, not be going back. The gal who took my order through Drive Thru was awful. I have a Wasatch Savings card and I qualify for a buy one get one, and I ordered 2 entrees and 1 kid meal. She punched my card, handed it back and said, "K, I took the kids meal off, it'll be $.$." I asked her if she could take off one of the other entree's since it didn't specify it would remove the lesser meal. I feel like that is a waste of a coupon and felt very jipped. She said no, and had an attitude the rest of our interaction. She proceeded to hand out our shakes and both of the cups were COVERED/dripping ice cream, and a mess. When I asked for napkins to clean up the mess, she rolled her eyes and handed me ONE napkin. :| Then she handed out our food and shut the window, I waited there a good few minutes until she realized I wasn't leaving, came back to the window and just opened it and stared, I asked if I read the menu wrong, but wanted to double check if the kids meal came with a cone, her response " Oh, yeah. I didn't think you wanted it." Shut the window, grabbed the cone, handed it to me and shut the window again. It was awful. I've never dealt with someone so...
Read moreFirst time here. We got here at 8:30 on a friday night and ordered a porkey combo and killer combo. The buns on the porkey and the meat were cold. The only thing that was warm were the grilled onions and the fries. The killer had a nice sized patty on it but the cold buns just made it hard to enjoy. We weren't offered any sauce for the fries since they had already cleared everything off the counters. I tried getting a high chair for my one year old and all the chairs were dirty and had food and sauce and trash on them. We had to hold our son while we ate because we didn't want to use the chairs. They started mopping before we even got our food and not even half way through our meal they shut off the lights. Luckily, my husband had already asked for a box for the fries since we felt pressured to leave otherwise we'd be walking around on a freshly mopped floor in a low-lit unfamiliar dining area. Happy for the employees since they were able to leave the parking lot by 905. Sad we don't plan to come back. They definitely need an older manager (to be there to close) who see's the value of customer satisfaction. We've heard great things from here but sadly it didn't live up to the hype. The table...
