Yesterday, the weather was rainy and I really wanted to eat Vietnamese noodles. So I searched on Google and chose a place with good reviews. First of all, I was so hungry that I thought about just leaving while waiting for my order. The table smelled like old rags. Still, I waited with the expectation that the food would be okay, but what I ordered was chicken wings and two bowls of noodles. My husband and I hate cilantro, so I asked them to leave it out. While waiting for the food, the smell from the table was unbearable, and on top of that, there were three small flying bugs in front of me. After waiting, the food came out, but the noodles had a lot of cilantro in them that I didn't want. When I told them, they took it back to the kitchen and took out the cilantro one by one. Read moreReview of Pho Sapa
Pho Sapa, while quick in serving food, leaves much to be desired in customer service and overall dining experience. Despite the friendly demeanor of the staff, the service felt disjointed, with multiple servers creating confusion and a lack of attentiveness. One server even ate in front of us, neglecting basic needs like drinks and napkins.
The food itself was underwhelming. The soup my daughter ordered was bland and untouched, yet no effort was made to address this or offer a meaningful alternative. While spring rolls or fries were suggested, the lack of flexibility or customer-focused solutions was disappointing.
Additionally, inconsistencies in their menu and kitchen practices—like offering tripe but being unable to prepare it—added to the frustration. The experience reflects a lack of emotional intelligence and understanding of basic hospitality.
While Pho Sapa may appeal to those seeking fast service, the lack of care in service and mediocre food quality make it a poor choice for those who value a thoughtful dining experience. For better pho and better service, I’d recommend exploring other options...
