Pay attention to the little tiny sign on the door as you go in.. that I didn’t see because a kind person open the door for me and yes read the little tiny print on the tab that they bring to your table that nobody reads. You will learn they don’t take cash now! I invited my guest out for dinner with my treat… took a awhile for the girl to Come back and pick up tab and I didn’t want to leave 140.00 cash on table so I carried it to what I thought was register.. I told the girl why I brought it up to register and she said ok so the 3 of us walked towards door as the server ran to us and said I didn’t pay my bill and she needed my credit card I advised I did pay but was un comfortable leaving 140 cash on table .. she said we don’t take cash.. huh?? I said we have a problem… it’s all I have she said well we don’t take it… now throughly embarrassed standing there I asked for a manager .. manager came out and as I’ve been at REDS for 10 years I said when did this start she said August 28th (I think) I said wow I didn’t know and why didn’t anyone say anything at the table and she immediately snapped it’s on the door and the receipt.. I said I just looked at the amount on the receipt and never saw on door… the server said I’m sorry I should have told you.. hmm what do I do? I guess call the police… I’m not going to ask my guest for a card.. the manager after 3 minutes of heated conversation said well… I’ll do it this time but… I was done right there.. you could of taken my cash and said well it’s a new rule but going forward we don’t take cash…instead of embarrassing me ?? I said well I guess I can never come back because I have no card and here’s the kicker she said… OKAY BYE…. Alrighty then! (Manger/owner don’t believe her when she tells you she didn’t say that) Just a helpful hint. BIG SIGN ON DOOR CASH ONLY AND HAVE THE SERVER MENTION NEW RULES…
A tiny sign on door and receipt is not adequate for such a major change!
How about a work in timeframe of say 90 days!
How about a manager with empathy and not up to arguing to embarrass customer further?
Very sad I’ll miss my Reds Ribeye...
Read moreI would give zero stars if I could because I did not get any food. Ordered through DoorDash, ordered was confirmed by Red's, got verification of this and estimated delivery time, about an hour later received a call from the Door Dash driver that they would not release my food because it was not paid for. Ummm, you can't order food from Door Dash unless you pay for it. He agreed and put me on the phone with Emily from Red's. Emily told me they had this issue earlier this week as well and that they no longer take Door Dash orders, well clearly they do since they are on Door Dash and confirmed my order. They would not give my food to the driver and she would not allow me to speak with a manager. She said one was there, but "per company policy I have to have him call you", I asked her to please put me on hold and go and let him know what was going on. She again said she could not do that and "he will need to call you back from his office", I then asked for his name and she said she was not able to give me that information. So now I sit waiting for the manager to call me and on hold with support from Door Dash to try and get a refund of over $100 for food I never got, not to mention the driver that is out of a tip because of Red's. This is absolutely unacceptable and to not even be able to speak to a manager, or have is name is ridiculous. We frequent Red's, but never again. This is horrible customer service. I have attached a photo just so Red's can't say that they didn't accept my order and that they aren't...
Read moreRed's definitely is here to pull in the golf crowd for a quick bite and a beer after they're done on the course but if you're looking for a quick casual lunch or dinner you shouldn't overlook this place.
I've been here a few times and never left disappointed. They serve American food like burgers and sandwiches with a somewhat limited menu of food choices. However, what they do they do fairly well and with reasonable prices.
The inside is a bar type scene with multiple tvs mounted on the walls playing sports games. It's decorated in a somewhat rustic southwest style much like the Wigwam resort. The bar is well stocked with low to midrange drinks. Their beer selection is decent with a handful of microbrews you'll probably already be familiar with. The appetizers are simple bar food but tasty with some of the best fried pickles I've ever had.
The outside patio area is really nice and comfortable with misters and umbrellas for shade overlooking the golf course.
I'll definitely...
