Don’t go here- first time I’ve written in all my reviews. They also only respond to 5 star reviews and 1 4 star- embarrassing and reflecting.- they replied to this review after adding this comment….funny.
My Husband treated me to this, because he knew it just opened and I was excited for a Mediterranean restaurant , in an attempt to make a heartbreaking day more bearable after loosing our kitten- instead you just kinda added to the “bleh” of the day. Thanks.
Ordered the Gyro plate and Ahi tuna salad. We came in at 830- were told the kitchen was closing in 10. We came with a lot of grace due to this.
Our waitress tried to avoid us. She came over right away- butts hadn’t even reached the seats- we said just a moment we hadn’t even seen a menu and she waited till the last second to check again and I mean 10 minutes later. We had to make eye contact before she came over. She was a snobby air head to put it politely. She didn’t understand what we meant by soft drink and kept trying to push cocktails - it took 3 times before she got it. Drinks went empty. She pronounced gyro in the wildest way I’ve ever heard and didn’t seem to even know what it was. This was after my husband pronounced/ asked for it. I’m orthodox - we visit the Greek Orthodox Church near us frequently for services, vacation bible school, and festivals. My friend runs the gyro stand. So points off for that. The water on the table is warm tap water. There was no hi or even introduction- otherwise I’d put her name. You expect meh service from fast food- but she was worse than that. There were 3 other tables. We had 3 interactions with our waitress- you could tell she was bored and pissy. The table had old fries all around/under it
Atmosphere was average and very “bought at target”. They started to shut the lights off on us at 845- they left them slightly dim. We ate in pretty much the dark till the nice other waitress brought us a table light. She was atleast better but still not “friendly”. Also weird to push dessert when yall are 20 minutes past closing.
It took over 35 minutes for a freaking salad that ended up 70% stem, 20% beet, and the rest was tuna and other. If there was a dressing- it evaporated before it got to the table. The rice was the best part. The gyro meat- some were as crunchy as a potato chip. The fries were average fries. Tables that were seated before us were getting their food around 910. We got ours after 915- we ordered at 836….a salad and a gyro plate. Someone got the wrong pasta at one table and the other table had to chase down the waitress for something. Our order waited for our server for 5 minutes before she brought it to us. So food was “warm” at best.
For $52 - we could’ve gone anywhere else for better food and service.
I see kitchen nightmares or closing soon in the future. At the very least a waitress without a job. I’d hate to see the place busy or her having a bad day.

Read moreMy husband and I came in today 7-10-25 because the reviews were so outstanding. My best friends are Greek and Lebanese and they cook for me all the time. I miss it and Ohhh I was so ready! We also left our favorite place in SOCal yearning to find another here in Az. I have to say it was a bit underwhelming and we are both so very disappointed. My husband got the Greek salad with chicken. The salad he said was ok. The chicken he ordered with it was very bland. No real seasoning to speak of. I ordered the Gyro plate with a side of hummus. After looking at the pictures on others reviews, I will say my hummus looked absolutely NOTHING like their pictures. It was cold and pasty and came in a metal round cup. Not creamy and flavorful. No olive oil, no green olives and no paprika. It honestly tasted like the inside of the fridge. I did mention to the waitress when she came to the table at the end of our meal that I didn't care for it at all and she just said ..."Ok then" and walked away. My tabbouleh was plentiful which was a big plus, but it was very dry. I put some of my lemon on it which helped a bit, but it needed more olive oil too and was very bland even though there were A LOT of white onions and green onions in it. Perhaps it was made that day. Sometimes it's always better when it sits a day. My rice was cold and again not seasoned. The Gyro meat was good but lukewarm at best. It could have used a bit on the grill to brown it and warm it up. I like my food hot when I eat it. There was only one or two other diners so there was no rush. The portions were great and the waitress was kind. We wanted melt in your mouth "ungshes" food and we got meh. Our plates of food looked nothing like the ones in the other reviews at all. Our search...
Read moreBefore I make my review please keep in mind that my wife & I have traveled the world, many times to the Mediterranean so I am comparing the food here not only to the real deal but also several Mediterranean restaurants here in Phoenix that we have been to. My wife and I were excited about taking our nephew here because we always love Mediterranean food and wanted him to try some near his house. With that said we were very disappointed! Although the food looked delicious it was extremely bland, w/o that wonderful herby, savory, fresh taste most Mediterranean food has, the meat was totally w/o flavor, slightly overcooked and the tzatziki even tasteless, no zig or zip to it. The rice has the most flavor of everything and even with that flavor it was pretty plain. On top of that the waitress got the order wrong on 3 seperate things(no tomato/cucumber) in the salad, she brought a salad full of tomato and cucumber. Spicy shrimp with double fries, she brought spicy shrimp with double rice. I had to ask 2 times to get her to bring me a side of tzatziki out and the pita bread was brought out half way through the meal. It was just a all around dissapoint meint for us because we do have many Mediterranean restaurants we can compare it to not only here in Arizona but around the world in our travels and to be very honest we won't be returning here as it was pretty high priced for the quality of food you get and the food left us wishing we went...
