On my way to Palio's for a chicken wrap with feta, I noticed that Little Greek @ this location has finally opened.
It has a very diverse and vast menu and I was the only 1 in there with 9 employees (4 seated in the restaurant and 5 behind the counter). I would've thought that there would be a much more friendly greeting seeing that the restaurant was empty and the parking challenges of this location. As I ordered a greek salad, I asked for some hummus on top. The woman said "we can only give you a side of hummus and pita" in a very stoic and nasty tone. It was a reasonable request since I get it at Jason's Deli quite frequently, without the extra cost. She agreed that they portion all of their food. I proceeded to order the lemon rice chicken soup, which I've had quite often back in Boston, and the chicken wrap with feta.
The chicken lemon rice soup was delivered. It was off colored, no hint of lemon, watery (true greek lemon rice soup is creamy yellow). I described it as "dishwater in a shoe" and only had 3 spoonfuls. When the man came to take it away and asked "how is everything?", I said "that was not good at all" and he gave me a huge smile and walked away. The chicken feta pita wrap had minimal chicken and barely any feta. No one came to my table to correct anything. With 9 employees there, being a new restaurant and no customers, I would've thought that they would have at least said "thank you" as I was leaving. But, nope. Nothing. Be aware on the receipt that there is a place that shows TIP, but also a SERVICE CHARGE. Very confusing.
It's clear to me that the underlying DNA here is not customer service or retention.
it was more expensive than Palio's and Jason's Deli with less parking, sub-par food and bad customer service.
Less than average.
I'll be sticking to Jason's Deli and Palio's.
There will not be a...
Read moreI wish I could write multiple reviews. Maybe I just don't know how. Anyway, I have to say that this is the best restaurant, in any category, in Little Elm, TX. The food is always fresh and delicious, the portions are generous for the price, and the service experience is always pleasant. There is a young man who works as a cook, and without fail, every time I enter, he welcomes me with a nice smile and seems genuinely happy to prepare our meals.
I consider it a gift to the community to have a quick-casual restaurant so close to home where we can pick up a freshly-cooked, healthy meal that doesn't break the bank.
Whomever runs this restaurant is doing a great job, and the staff should be really proud of the service they are providing to Little Elm.
Great Staff & Food
I was going to grab a chicken sandwich at Popeye’s, which is quite close to the Little Greek Fresh Grill. In the parking lot I decided to go to the Little Greek because the staff at Popeye’s is always so rude and I didn’t want to end my day that way. I’m so glad I stopped at the Little Greek because I was greeted with respect and kindness and the food was delicious. Better decision all around! If you haven’t been here, you...
Read moreI'm a huge fan of Greek food, and since I have eaten at some of the best, I am quite judgemental of Greek restaurants food, quality, and service.
I have been here twice now since they opened a few weeks ago, and so far they have not let me down. I had the chicken pita both times, with greek potatoes, and tzatziki (my fave)... and on my first visit of course I had to try their falafel, which did not disappoint.
The service is also great. Very friendly and fast, but not so fast that you'd think the food has been sitting there. Everything is made fresh to order. My 1st time the order was messed up a little, and they quickly fixed it without hesitation.
The food all came out hot and fresh, and it tastes as good as it looks. The atmosphere was nice, restaurant and dining areas are clean. I will certainly make this place a regular lunch stop, and would recommend it to anyone who loves Greek food.
Sidenote: When I returned for my 2nd visit a week later, I was remembered, and who doesn't love personal service when they go out?
There is literally only ONE thing I would say that needs to change, and that would be that they should offer Sweet Tea... I mean c'mon, this...
