BagelBox — Restaurant in Little Ferry

Hi, so I first want to start off by saying I never write Google reviews & for me to be writing one right now I’m more than pleased with the service of this business. So, I never been to the location physically & always order on DoorDash. Today I received the wrong order, and I don’t hold anyone responsible because mistakes happen. I called the restaurant to see what I can do to receive my correct order. The owner was the one who picked up the phone & without hesitation he offered to bring my my correct order to my house. I felt extremely bad and didn’t want him to take the trip even though he instead it was okay. I ended up driving to the location & only asked the owner if someone can please bring it out for me. The owner personally came out into the rain to hand me my correct order. Not only did I receive the correct order, but he included a whole bunch of extra stuff for the inconvenience. The owner was extremely nice & very pleasant. I always order from this place & will keep supporting this small local business because the food is always amazing & today the owner has proven to me that their customer service is above & beyond. I mean wow is this food so tasty, but when I say they mess up your order EVERY single time …. I mean it. My babygirl and myself consistently laugh about the different ways they manage to mess up our most simplest orders … but they do have the BEST food and such a hardworking Owner and very nice employees. It pains me to complain because I love going there but seriously every single time it’s something it’s just unreal how often they can mess up. This order was supposed to be a strawberry bagel TOASTED on the left which obviously it’s not being that it’s ice cold and on the right is supposed to be a PLAIN bagel instead it’s a salt bagel and this was after they did not have one of the two bagels we had ordered 15 minutes ago ordered for some unexplained reason. It just vanished from the order even tho it was repeated back to us lol. They proceeded to confirm it was a plain bagel they needed to add Jalapeño cream cheese to, but my baby girl has a Salt bagel with her cream cheese. Like I said unbelievable mistakes !!! I recently discovered Bagel Box just 4 stop lights from my spot. The place is clean. The mean is vast. I am very particular about my food. The Boars head brand is a plus. For $7.99 plus tax you expect the food to be made to your licking. I asked for extra mayo and there was barely any. I ended up going someone else for mayo. The second time I asked for honey turkey cheese extra mayo lettuce tomato salt pepper vinegar. It didn't seem like the young lady was writing what I ordered so I repeated 3xs. While paying I noticed .25 cents fee for cheese. I inquired. I was told you have to pay for cheese. Mind you I didn't pay additional the last time. When I got the sandwich I asked her if I can check before bagging. Barely any mayo and bacon in my sandwich. The meat was not honey turkey. I was so annoyed. I just requested a small side of mayo. I left there thinking, I'll just stick with Ben's Bagel Barn. They are fast, accurate, fair about the prices. Also front desk could move a bit faster.
