Went today for the special 2 piece 2 sides and a biscuit, and I ask the cashier at register for 2 breasts with my order. He said that he can only give a dark meat and white meat, i then explain to him that a few days ago I went to the Popeye in Paramus and they gladly give me the 2 breast. He then said that the management of the Popeye in Little Ferry does not allow that at all. I was shocked since I thought its a huge franchise and all location should be with the same level of customer service. It was not a problem at all the the Paramus location and the cashier mentioned that the manager worked at the Paramus location at one point. Maybe the clientele in the Paramus location has better preferences. Anyhow, i said ok. I took the food home. He gave me a leg, and thigh under cook, and NOT even one chicken Breast. The customer service has failed me, and im sure there are even more customer who feel the same way and will not take the time to vent, but in turn will not go back to that location. This is the second time i’ve been to that location in Little Ferry and the first time which was a few years ago I had similar issues with the customer service. I definitely will NEVER go back to the Little Ferry location. Somethings Never...
Read moreI'm willing to give this Popeyes another chance just because it was so busy when I got there, I think the employees just were throwing out stuff without caring about the quality because it was so busy for them. I've been wanting to try this sandwich and it's on my way home so hence the visit, anyway when I got the sandwich it was lukewarm at best. How does that happen if I'm eating it as I'm leaving the restaurant not waiting to get home? I could taste the potential if they had cared more. I don't mind waiting for great food but the worst is when you wait and it's not as good as what it could have been if the staff cared more about making sure the food taste good before sending it out, but the employees were trying but fell short I guess. Remember Popeyes in Little Ferry It's important to remember to make sure the food is great before sending it out, especially if I'm waiting 35 min for a freakin' sandwich which I don't mind if it...
Read moreI drove up on a Sunday evening, and the drive thru was empty (lucky me!). I ordered a sandwich combo and upgraded to the macaroni and cheese side and strawberry lemonade. The total was about $12-$13. I expected the sandwich to be fresh, but the batter was all soggy, falling apart and lukewarm. There was barely any sauce (and most of it leaked out), which made the sandwich dry. The Mac n cheese only filled half of the container and was almost solid. However, it had potential and tons of cheese flavor (none of that Kraft fake stuff). The lemonade was delicious and refreshing. I usually do not request ice in my drinks, but I forgot to this time. To my luck, the server did not include ice. Which made my day. Overall, I was disappointed in the quality and freshness of the food. I really wanted to enjoy this treat, as it was my cheat meal. Better luck next...
