The reason I gave 2 stars was the service. The food was very good. I had made reservations for a party of 12. It was for my Son 16th Birthday. This is my second time coming and everyone else their first time. All my guest arrived and my family of 3 was the last one to arrived. My guest were already seated at the table. I had brought 2 cakes and balloons . As soon as my family and I joined the rest of the group. We sat by the end of the table. The server came without introducing himself and did not explained how things worked for the first timers. He simple asked if we were ready? The first time I came here they gave us menus but the server ask us if we didn’t scan the QR code. I asked the server where is the QR code and he said above our heads. Wow!

Throughout the whole visit my half of my table did not feel we were getting acknowledged. I literally have to get the servers attention and ask can we please starts with drinks. He was very disorganized. Sadly I still don’t know the servers name throughout the whole experience. Also I felt he assumed that side of the party was the host of that table and clearly I’m sitting next to my 16yr old son who is the main event of the party with balloons attached to his seat.

Luckily another server came, acknowledge that myself and my half of the table had not place any order. The kind server introduced himself, BIN. He understood that I was getting annoyed by the our original server. The original server focused one side of the table and got everything for them. I was truly upset how this experience was and complained at the host stand. No one explained there supposed to focus one side of the table. I had to explained to them we weren’t told anything or how things work.

BIN continued to helps us even though he was not assigned to us. He help us throughout the whole time and mention who’s birthday was it. I gladly told him it’s my sons birthday. We also told him we had brought a cake after dinner. BIN made sure to make the occasion special. As soon as we were done with dinner they bought the check out. I had to tell the other server we had brought a cake. They bought one cake and when they brought the cake out. We had all these dishes on the table that needs to be cleared out. I literally have to tell the server can you please clear the table? There’s no room for the cake. They had to take the cake back and removed some of the empty dishes.

BIN saw and realized they had brought the cake. I know he was attending his other tables but came out announcing my son’s birthday making sure my son special for his event. I was very appreciative what he did. Our server have no clue what’s going on.

I wanted to say BIN, Thank you for acknowledging and making sure my son had a...

Update:

This is our second visit to this restaurant, this time on a weekend to try the all day dinner menu, that has 20 different meats to try. As usual their best items were beef bulgogi and cast iron steak. We loved the spicy squid as well.

They have amazing pop corn chicken. Give out plenty of free side dishes like lettuce, kimchee, and multiple sauce.

The server pretty takes care of the whole cooking part. They cook all the items, put them on the side, bring you all the side items. Our server Liana was very nice. She brought us small portions of many other kinds so we could try as many items as we can. The unmarinated items do taste weird without any sauce.

I prefer this place a lot over other All You Can Eat restaurants. There's so much variety and flexibility, everything is cooked right in front of you. Such a great experience.

Original (Dec '22): This K-bbq place is amazing. It’s huge, can fit all size of groups/parties. It’s very well decorated with every single table having its own suction exhaust.

The menu is simple, get individual soups, or All You Can Eat (AYCE) option. Weekday lunch option has couple of chicken, beef and few pork options. Dinner and weekend menu has much more choices.

The experience is pretty neat, your server does pretty much all the hard work of setting up all the sides, cooking the vegetables and meat. They even switch the grilling plate once it has too much burn marks.

Foodwise loved the marinated bulgogi beef, the best item for me on lunch menu. Chicken was also good. Popcorn chicken was made well, crispy outer layer. You can six sauces to pick from, my favorite was chimichuri. They also serve Korean alcohol drinks now.

This is a great spot for to fill your belly and heart with some delicious bbq, especially with...

I frequently go to the Original Cast Iron Pot and always have a good experience, however their 3rd party valet service is horrible.

Opening day of Cast Iron Pot 4 (Signature) their food, was lacking quality control. Though I am familiar with their stores Captain being one of the best their original store has to offer the new wait staff employed are sort of personable and friendly except for one. Their hostess with the tattoos has a horrible attitude which ruined my appetite, which was only worsened with the inexperienced waiters that also double as cooking attendants.

This front desk hostess does not know Asian hospitality and presentability, which makes this new place feel no better than an generic Applebees, which is awful considering each patron ends up spending at least $41.00 to $60 per person. It is very simple to express humbleness, humility, and warm equal kindness.

The waitstaff and the attending master chef seem to not know the original acceptable quality of thickness of both pork and beef. The brisket slicer is set to the thickness of roast beef. You will end up with that consistency because the meat is sitting at room temperature as well so when it hits the cast iron pan it will overcook itself in less than half a minute.

The waitstaff also do not realize you should not in fact be keeping cooking temperatures at maximum because all you are doing is over searing the meat and not rendering any excess fat/sinew out of the meat.

Examples of this was their waiters serving me over seared their "new menu item" short-rib bone steak and thick cut pork belly; both had the meat cooked incorrectly and huge chunks of fat.

I would rate this less, but I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and change my...

I changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars because I no longer enjoy the service. I probably visited this location 10 times since they opened. The last two times I went (about one week ago and one month ago), I felt that the two male servers I had were rude. The women I dined with also noticed. We spoke about how annoying the man was while we were at the table. Most recently with my date, we both felt irked at certain points from the service. The servers gave “punk” like responses or just didn’t know how to handle service with a smile/good responses. It’s hard to really explain, but they’re not suave with communicating and it felt like being served by irritated younger brothers. For example, I showed them a rough amount of brisket I wanted by making a shape with my hands. Server replies, “that tells me nothing.” Uh dude, it tells you how much meat I want. Maybe instead of saying that, he could’ve said, “one portion of meat we serve looks like this,” and show us or explain to us instead. I said , “ok I want 1/3 of the grilled filled with brisket. He accepted this but he should’ve been able to accommodate the first time without being an a-hole at the very least. The restaurant should really retrain the staff on service. It’s very important. I’m noticing other comments are also hating on the service as of recent. Service makes or break a restaurant. Never in MY years of serving in the restaurant industry did I have the audacity to speak to customers like these men did. Maybe if you go, you’ll see. I wouldn’t advise a date to take me here as my first choice for kbbq anymore. This is not a date worthy experience because you will feel rushed by service and catch attitude for no reason.
