Absolutely loved our experience at BCW. We were greeted warmly when we came in and asked to see a menu, and told about happy hour. The menu looked great so we couldn’t resist. The atmosphere was so cute with nice wood grain tables, a comfy crushed velvet style plush couch to sit on and a bar that had echoed the same green tints in subway tiles as a backsplash. Our server, Alex, was great with giving us some recommendations. We ordered the Foam party wine flight and 3 appetizers, including the roasted beets and goat cheese, the pork rilette and the cheese fondue. Our wine came out quickly and our food just shortly behind. The cheese fondue was fantastic, with a nice, creamy and slightly salty taste with great fresh bread. We also found that they provided gluten free bread as well for no upcharge, which was great to be able to enjoy this all with my wife. The roasted beets had such a nice creamy goat cheese with them and the pork dish offered such a diversity of flavors and textures. We got a visit from Nathan to see how we were, and raved about the food (not sure if he’s the GM or owner or otherwise) but everyone was so incredibly pleasant and nice that worked there. Another woman even came out from the kitchen and asked us about our time and our food as well, sporting a huge smile too. Overall, it was one of the best, and most unexpected dining and drinking experiences we’ve had in a while. If we lived in Little Rock, we would definitely be regulars here, and if we ever pass through the area again, we will certainly make a stop. Thanks for the great service and...
Read moreThe food is really good, however the hostess working last night (Monday June 1, 2025) was not congenial and was curt. Had I not eaten there before with wonderful staff service and this were my first impression I probably would not come back.
This particular evening the restaurant was 50% full. The hostess said “at this time we are seating walk-ins with a 40 to 45 minute wait”. I had a party of four with lots of tables available and I inquired about those and the hostess repeated the same message.
So I put my name on the list and walked around for 10 minutes, came back and asked The hostess againif our party could sit at the bar while we were waiting. The hostess visibly sighed deeply and gestured with their left arm abruptly “sure“.
Thinking back I think the issue was staffing on this particular night. There has been as of recent only two food servers working the facility, which is not enough and it may have been what was going on this evening.
I understand, not seating people to a capacity that overwhelmed the food server staff. However, the hostess was negligent in being able to articulate this. And their messaging was a...
Read moreMy friends took me and boyfriend here as they love this place, it's one of their new favorite restaurants here in Little Rock. So, we had pretty high expectations. We were seated immediately and was given water to drink. We started off with The Board, which is something that my friends loved. It was pretty good. The sauces except the mustard weren't for me though, the bacon was pretty thick and pretty dry, which was a shame, but the prosciutto was pretty good, especially with a small piece of bread and the mustard. I ordered the Pork Belly Grilled Cheese with a side to share of the Lemon Herb Potatoes. When my Grilled Cheese got to me, it was unfortunately, kind of burnt, which sucked. The combination of the swiss cheese and pork belly were pretty good, but not great. I wish the pork belly was thicker and not finely chopped as it was, as I think that takes away the flavor of pork belly. The arugula salad was a plus though. The potatoes were also unfortunately kind of burnt as well, giving it a burnt lemon taste that wasn't that pleasant. Overall, it wasn't too bad, but not as good as I was hoping, and I probably just wouldn't...
