This is the third time I have been here. And this is the third time I have been underwhelmed. Back before COVID I used to go to the spot in the heights and loved Boulevard. The menu was great, food was great and it really always had this feeling like it was a diamond in the rough. An Arkansas treasure. COVID happened and I fell out of going. Now I work close to this one and it's not even close to the memory. Not much of a selection, run down looking, and really just bland in all aspects. Today just sealed it for me. No one was in front of me, three workers behind the counter and I was being rushed by the person behind the register. Once I ordered my food came out quicker than my drink (by the time of 10 minutes) even though there was no one else in front of my order. Got the food (which was a new sandwich for the third time) and bland was all I could think. Nothing remarkable going on and really underwhelming. The chips had more flavor than the sandwich. I actually took the salad apart to take a pic but it doesn’t allow me to post. This salad and the others are not to Boulevards...

I gave her the order name and the response was "What else?" I would've ordered something else if it wasn't for her demeanor. I handed the cashier my card. When she finished the transaction, she set my card on the counter and pointed to it. It angered me to have had those events happen in a somewhat familiar place! As much as I've been in there to pick up orders, I've never been treated like that. They will never have to worry about our business again. I'll find a black owned business to...
