Cantina Laredo — Restaurant in Little Rock

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food this place is not it. Which is understandable with a chain restaurant.

My main focal point for this place were the drinks. Very big selection of margaritas and mixed drinks.

The service was slow which was surprising for the amount of servers they had when I walked in at 3:45 pm (I counted 7 servers 1 hosted 1 manager and 2-3 bartenders actively interacting with the patrons.) our drinks came out wrong twice and the amount of time it took just to order was ridiculous. I was still hopeful that maybe it took so long because the plates were being made fresh or from scratch but was disappointed when food actually arrived. The cheese dip tasted like Kraft yellow cheese something you’d get in a mac & cheese box.

The guacamole was good tho the presentation was great.

Hard pass on the chicken fajitas. Tasted like Ramen noodle chicken seasoning and very small portions for $22.00

The place is made to look upscale and elegant with beautiful decorations.

The drinks where also very good. I had the Tequila mule and a cucumber chili margarita my wife had a passion fruit piña colada and a watermelon mojito.

Would definitely be back for the drinks but would seriously contemplate ordering more food from here (if you’re in the mood for REAL Mexican food.)

On Dec 6 2018 I went to cantina Laredo to listen to christina sing. I am a regular drop About $300. A month at cantina Laredo On this evening appx 5:45 -6:00 pm. The Bar was Empty except for one lady looking at the menu. The Bartender Came to me looked and said nothing. Not can I get your usual, chip's & Salsa. Glass of water nothing. So took my business else where and Will stay elsewhere. Not the first time Cantina Laredo has Dropped the Ball On customer service. And their are Some super Bartender's who work There. Not this one not this night. I won't be back. Too bad . Got a response From someone did not give me a Name To ask for in general. And standard Web Site no Name attich. Did read other responses Saw Name of Mr. Lane is he well at this point Kind of impersonal. Also I am not a Guest. I am a customer. A guest is invited and does Not pay. I pay their for have options. Also Follow up and through service with owner was disappointing. Was informed by owner would do everything in his power to retain me as a Customer. No results guess does not have the Power after all. I have been here about a half-dozen times in the last few months as a third-party contractor for outside sales. Every time I've been here, except once, I have had to wait 20 to 30 minutes for my orders to be prepared. Sometimes longer! The staff is RUDE, inconsiderate and inattentive! I have never been offered a drink during my long waits. I have been talked to like a second-rate citizen and not even recognize while I sit and wait looking at the staff. When I ask for information about my orders I get no communication, just attitude. This place is a joke! Or, terribly mismanaged. Or some of both...I'm not sure. But, I certainly wouldn't go there and spend my own money. Especially when every time I'm in there as a "business partner" it cost me more money than I make! And heaven forbid you try to say something constructively critical; they get their panties in a major bunch! And then have nothing good to say about anyone involved in the partnership except themselves of course. If I could give a place negative Stars this would be one. I've been in the service industry for many many years and I just cannot believe the way this place is run; and how they treat the people who are supposed to be in business with them! Inexcusable!!!! I hope they go out of business. Which, they will if they do not get their act together. This market is not kind to stupidity...
