Got here at 5 am, they weren't open. A gentleman was waiting at the door as well. We stood there for a few minutes and an employee walked up to the door. He was very nice, greeted us and knocked on the door. The older blonde woman behind the counter in the kitchen looked over and you could clearly see she was irritated. Another employee walks around from the back kitchen and just stares at the door before disappearing into the kitchen again. I ask the employee at the door with us if they in fact open at 5 am. He said yes and apologized for the employees inside not opening on time. Finally the older woman goes out the back door and walks around the building and comes up to open the store from outside. Doesn't say a word, just unlocks the door and goes in leaving us to follow her. She slams through the thigh high swing door in the counter to go back to the kitchen. I could tell we really inconvenienced her by being there at 5. The young man waiting with us let us go ahead of him before stepping behind the counter to clock in. He then tries to take my order but there were no donuts set up so I said I would wait so I could see the selections because I wanted 2 dozen variety donuts for my coworkers. The gentleman who had been waiting with me asked for a creme filled donut and the male employee went to the kitchen only to come back and say they didn't have any creme filled yet. The gentleman ordered something else and left. I wait a few more minutes before the male employee comes back out with a dozen donuts of various types to see if that would be ok. I said no I had specific ones I needed for specific coworkers and I only knew them by sight not name. He said ok and the employee that had previously ignored us at the door and gone back to the kitchen passed by and mentioned not havin creme filled again. I asked when they would have some ready bc most of the donuts I need are creme or jelly filled. He said 7am. I decided to go elsewhere as I needed to be at work at 5:30. Very disappointed in the general attitude. The young man did try to help but unfortunately the kitchen staff / openers failed to provide...
Read moreAbout two years ago, I stopped going to Dunkin’ Donuts regularly because I noticed a clear decline in the quality of service. While the donuts have always been pretty good....the rest of the experience has continued to go downhill. Now, I only stop by if I truly have no other choice.
Today, I pulled up to the drive-thru and was told to wait, which I was fine with at first. However, after waiting a while and seeing only one car at the window, I figured it might be quicker to go inside. The store wasn’t particularly busy, but it still felt disorganized.
All I ordered was a simple iced vanilla coffee with cream and sugar. When I took a sip, it was extremely bitter...basically undrinkable. If I wanted something that bitter, I would’ve just ordered a black coffee. I went back in and politely asked if it could be remade. They agreed, but it didn’t feel like any real effort went into the second attempt either. The person preparing it seemed disinterested, and the result was just as bad—if not worse. On top of that, the second cup had less in it than what I paid for.
I didn’t have time to push the issue, as I was on my lunch break and just trying to grab a quick coffee before heading back to work. Honestly, if I had more time, I would have asked for a refund. But based on the overall attitude and atmosphere, I didn’t think that would’ve been handled any better so I tossed the coffee out at work.
Management really needs to take a hard look at this location. It’s been getting progressively worse. For contrast, the Bryant location is great, so I know Dunkin’ can do better. This particular location seems to have a constant turnover of staff, very little training, and overall poor upkeep. The store was dirty...sticky floors and a generally low appearance. It’s disappointing and frustrating to see it decline this way. You can see it declining with how much business you they have lost because of reasons similar to mine. Do something about it or...
Read moreNormally, I'm a big Dunkin fan. I would fist fight Starbucks over some Dunkin. But I was sorely let down today. I ordered a matcha latte, delicious green drink of the gods. Instead, I got iced coffee with a smidgen of matcha powder slapped in there. I wondered why it was brown but I don't know how they make it and thought, surely, Dunkin knew what they were doing. I got to work, took a sip, and my soul immediately left my body from the bitter shock it received. Suffice to say, it was coffee. And coffee and matcha don't mix. I rarely order coffee because it tears my stomach up. So I can't drink the latte I paid for. I pulled out the bagel with strawberry cream cheese, what I always order, and was dismayed to see the top half, under a delicious schmear of cream cheese yumminess, my bagel was blackened. The bottom half, completely untoasted. Just plain, raw, untoasted bread. I just wanted to treat myself; I've been working hard and struggling. Instead, I was punished. In any case, I ate the bagel. Cream cheese goes a long...
