it's is a tradition for my daughter and I to go to Mcalisters after our quarterly and semi annual dental appointments. We normally frequent the one in NLR. We decided to go to the little rock location because we invited family. We walked in and we waited for the customer before us to order once they were done Cora looked at us but I had to ask was she ready to assist us. My daughter and I always get the broccoli and cheese soup bread bowls that's our tradition. My family ordered drinks and baked potatoes. When our food came out everyone had their items but we were missing our bread. I asked the manager Cora was the bread coming separate she said you only asked for the bowls I said no ma'am we ordered the bread bowl she said well ok it's an extra 1.11 per bread bowl do you have 1.11 very rudely I might add. Then she walked away and mumbled something with out confirming whether or not she was bringing the bread. So I had to walk up to the counter and ask for the bread bowl. She then came from the back demanding 2.22 for the bread I said ma'am are you having a bad day? She said no I then asked well why are you being so rude I'm not looking for anything free. She stated she's not being any type if way. I said yes obviously something is very wrong. Cora messed up my order and loudly and rudely demanded that I pay as if I was trying to get over when I had just spent well over $50 for my food. Needless to say my daughter and I will start another tradition some where else that appreciate my loyalty and money. I didn't even finish my food I was so embarssed and upset. Customer service training is needed for this manager who is supposed to be an example to her employees . Manager Cora you profiled me and you should be ashamed of yourself I work hard daily for the money I spent at your establishment I don't need to lie or try and get over for stale bread. I order this dish every time you messed my order. If you are having a bad day don't blame the customer check yourself or get another job...
Read moreThe attitude of one of the employees there was absolutely unacceptable. After calling in an order, we arrived and went to stand under the large sign that says "Call in/Take out" and waited for about 3 or 4 minutes. No one acknowledged us. Finally, the check out girl says, you have to stand in line, it's too busy for us to check out here for call in orders. I asked the girl, why didn't you tell us that as soon as we walked over here so we could have went back to stand in line? She answered in an extremely rude tone of voice, you JUST walked over here and I'm telling you now. I gave her a look like, did you really just say that? She gave the same look back to me! After we went and stood in line behind the 6 people that walked in from the time we came in and the time we went back to stand in line, got up to the check out line, I asked to speak to a manager. He was very nice, but basically told me there was nothing he could do about the girl and gave me a discount on the food in return. That's all fine and well, but I do not take kindly to an attitude like that and being told that nothing can be done about it. That's how you lose customers, and they've lost me...
Read moreI visited this location during a very busy Saturday lunch rush. I used the app to order from my table and waited. While I waited I watched the people pour in and was impressed by Tiffany, who I later found out was the manager, and her staff. Jordan took orders with the politest customer service I've seen in quite some time since the pandemic and Tiffany was moving just as quickly to assist by taking orders, expediting and delivering food, and cleaning tables. I also witnessed the kitchen staff working together to prepare orders efficiently and quickly without sacrificing the presentation. Once the rush was over, the staff didn't pause. They promptly began recovering the dining room while still servicing the stragglers coming into the restaurant. I will definitely visit this location again. Additionally, I think they were actually short staffed yet still provided this level of service. I'm sincerely impressed. Thank you Tiffany and Jordan for the way you two handled such a difficult time and thank you to the kitchen for caring about how your food is presented ; I wish I had the opportunity to catch all of your names,...
