Moody Brews Discriminates Against People with Disabilities.

I was really excited about the expanding Pettaway area and looking forward to Friday night market. The market itself is great and the vendors are awesome. I’ve heard about Moody Brews for a while, and I thought I’d give it a try. It’s my birthday, and I thought it would be a great way to spend the evening…sadly this evening, that was not the case…

I happen to be graced with autism, and that, along with social anxiety, makes communication a little difficult sometimes and 99.99% of people are patient with me as I (or they) repeat myself (themselves) during conversation…

Moody Brews, however, refused me service because they couldn’t understand what I was saying after repeating myself only once… I am bewildered. I had a single beer four hours ago and I’m writing this review immediately after my horrible experience with Moody Brews, if that can attest to my state of mind and/or level of intoxication.

I don’t wanna let one Rotten apple spoil the bunch, but it is my birthday and not only was that humiliating, it was discriminatory. I will never go back! I recommend that you do not support a business that treats people with disabilities as such.

I do NOT...

I hate bars. I do not like bars here nor there, I do not like bars....on bars, but I do like this bar. I recently found out that this establishment is the best bar/micro brew, and this is not opinion but actual fact. I don't male the rules, it's science, and science dictates that this is the best. The atmosphere is relaxed. Patrons and staff are amiable, and it is easy to have a conversation worth having or to just sit out on the patio for solace. The craft beers, cider, and soda are delicious. No complaints whatsoever, I always enjoy myself when I get a chance to go to...

We visited Moody Brews last night for BINGO, we were also pleasantly surprised to see they had the Loblolly Ice Cream Truck parked out front and were offering beer floats with the release of their new Moody Brews Ice cream collab and a waffle cone imperial stout. WOW WOW WOW delicious! Plus they are in this amazing area of Pettaway with so many cool things like a barbershop, coffee shop, food truck, nail salon. We love to see the growth of this neighborhood. It's going to quickly turn into one of our teams new favorite places...
